Congregation Beth Shalom (CBS) is a warm and diverse Jewish community providing cultural, educational, and holiday programs for greater Stanislaus County.
CBS is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. However, every effort is made to serve the needs of the whole spectrum of interested Jewish residents in the area.
Services are held each Friday evening and Saturday morning. A religious school for the synagogue's youth is held on Sundays. In addition, the synagogue hosts a variety of special events throughout the year. CBS' office hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Through religious, educational, cultural, and social activities, it is our aim to instill in our members a common bond of mitzvot (ethical values and actions).
Our Gift Shop offers an array of religious items, games for kids, cards and much more. The Gift Shop is open Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm and Sundays during Religious school by appointment. Please call 571-6060 for more information.
