Engaging and working with Eric and Mike made the most difficult time in our lives bearable. Their sensitivity, professionalism, and patience made the services everything we wanted it to be. My brothers passing occurred in Texas, therefore presented a few logistical challenges along the way, given travel back to NY. The Overton team provided fantastic guidance and leveraged a strong network to facilitate transfer and in the most economical way. My brother lived a full life and Overton was very accommodating in ensuring we felt happy in expressing it, really allowing us to leverage the chapel to its fullest potential. The services drew a large audience, and the flow was managed seamlessly. Again, a heartfelt thank you!
I agree with everyone else who has written a five star notice for Overton Funeral Home, and the family that runs it. I remember the night my mother died, they came to our door, and it felt like family was visiting. One cannot overstate their compassion toward us at that time, and they will never be forgotten.
Wow. I have been calling funeral homes all day for my dad’s send off and was not having any luck. Some funeral homes were so rude, not to mention the rush with this pandemic. A close friend recommended Overton. I spoke with Sean and OMG, he was so attentive, patient and very welcoming.. he made the time to speak with me and assist me with all my questions and concerns, and did not mind the fact that I wasn’t sure what I needed, but made the time to guide me. Thank you for your comfort!!!
My sisters and I had to quickly plan our mom's funeral, and thankfully with the assistance of Sean and Mike mom had a beautiful service. We would highly recommend Overton, they provide an excellent level of professionalism, and compassion that is needed when facing this challenging time.
Genuinely caring and understanding. Everyone helped us through a very difficult time explaining patiently the different options as well as sending us home with books and paperwork in choosing prayer cards, custom design, and arrangement of photos and personal items to be placed with our son. Unfortunetly, we had a funeral to plan for my grandmother. The staff was very kind, and everything was beautiful Overton is deffinitely the way to go.
