A very clean, quiet, very well maintained and relaxing place to camp. I very much enjoyed how wooded the area was. Easy to access from the main road. Waverly is just a few minute drive to all you might need if you forgot something at home and needed to stock up. Not too far on gravel to get to the campground. That road is also very well maintained and safe. An interpretive trail to hike, and others. Access to waterways. Shower and bathroom areas clean and very well kept. Dump station is also easy to use. Firewood available, free will donation. Many sites to choose from. Even tent sites that have electric hook-ups! No, water, but public water access points to fill your camper tank. We choose a site that was nearly all surrounded by the woods. Happy Camping or Glamping ;-
Great camping and trails. Minus the straight line winds that wiped us out Playground: Great central location Restrooms: Clean restrooms with stalls and showers Dog-friendliness: Seems like everyone had dogs!
Awesome spot to take a relaxing walk along the river. Also a great spot to take photos and appreciate the beauty of nature alone or with friends and family. One of my local favorites!
The park is a camping park that is both beautiful and scenic. I enjoy the picnic areas and the fishing. If you enjoy bird watching or hunting wildlife with your camera this is a great spot.
This is a clean campground between a river valley and fields. There are a couple separate shelter houses to use further back from the camping area. Some have old playground equipment and a couple have nice new playgrounds. There are many good hiking trails along the river.
Great camping, large sites and not overcrowded. Trails are good, easy to moderate terrain. Lots of access on and off the trails. Some downed trees, but it's to be expected with recent weather. Overall a good get away for a few hours, a day or more
Well maintained, clean and quiet. 17.00 a night electric site
The self-registration is very convenient, just come prepared with exact cash or a check! The wood pile is also great and the park seems to be well-maintained. Will definitely be back for a weekend!
Camped here for several weeks with three children. It's spacious, has a good playground structure, lots of walking trails, fishing. Also nice bathrooms with showers, fresh water, electricity available. The prices are decent and Wednesdays are free.
Not a bad park. Trails are nice, but could use some repair on the wooden bridges and definitely could use some weed control. The road through the park is pretty rough with gravel and mud holes. And I'm fairly certain that the "speed bumps" are a little excessive in their size. Far too big in my opinion.
