My mom has been to this hospital many times for severe hypertensive crisis and chest pains. There is never a wait so it’s nice to be seen quickly. The staff is kind, but the doctors are not very smart. My mother has never been treated for her high blood pressure, not once. We arrive, they take an EKG, sometimes a chest X-ray, and they take blood. They say everything looks clear and send us on our way home. This last time, my mother was having very high blood pressure combined with chest pains. I called 911 ahead of time to let them know we needed ambulance to meet us there upon arrival. This didn’t happen. All the same rounds of tests were performed and again… everything looks “clear”. The doctor diagnosed her with “pleural lung pains”. When we asked if her lungs showed any sign of pleurisy - the answer was no. No treatment was rendered. She was sent home with a pamphlet about pleurisy despite not having pleurisy. I am scared to death that my mother is going to pass away any day now from resistant hypertension. She is having blood pressure spikes all the way up to 248/114. Saint George hospital has even worse reviews than Cedar. Stay away from this hospital if you are in similar shoes.

This place is a joke. My wife has called scheduling on two different occasions. It has taken weeks to get a reply. Last was a mammogram. She went on my health. The VA called but not cedar city hospital. I had an aunt pass away because of a bad test. A joke!

I wish i could give a zero. going to a hospital you would think that you would ge treated, especially when you’re in severe pain. no, not here. they leave you in the waiting room with no information and say “we are taking guests in based on how severe their symptoms are” severe must mean something different here. 103 fever and dizziness, severe body aches, severe headache, and severe ear pain and infected inside. i don’t understand how that isn’t severe to them. They have not said a word in 2 hours nor given anything for the pain.

I had covid 19 I went to another hospital just south of cedar City. They were the worst hospital I had a temp of 105 and very sick and couldn't breathe, and the doctor wanted to send me home. I was hallucinating and my daughter immediately grabbed me and took me up to cedar City hospital I have the best care I have ever had in my life. They immediately took care of me in every way I immediately got IVs and the medication for COVID-19 the aftercare was even better. I owe my life to the nurses and the doctor there at cedar City. Wonderful hospital.

We’ve had to be seen in the emergency room a few times and each time our experience has been good. Fast, clean, friendly. This is such a wonderful hospital.

This is an outstanding hospital especially for a smaller community. The care they gave me and my wife have been personal, efficient, and honest. Go to any other hospital and you will see how good little Cedar hospital is!

I've  unfortunately spent many times in the hospital, and I have been treated with respect & careing. The doctors & staff are awesome. This goes for all technical staff as well. They go above & beyond duty. Can't say anymore praise.

I have had nothing but excellent experiences at Cedar City Hospital. The staff have repeatedly been attentive, compassionate and responsive to my needs. I’ve received excellent care time and time again. So grateful for the incredible providers I have worked with!

I’m an otr truck driver and had an incident at the rest area 18 miles south of cedar city and was brought to these guys. Very wonderful staff and caring I would recommend this hospital to anyone

A family member has been a guest of the ER several times over the years.  The experience has always been great! Caring staff, good doctors, nice rooms, even good food I hear!  Much thanks to all the good people at intermountain healthcare and hospital! Cheers to you!
