Our kennel is 60 years young. What a milestone!!! Can you believe it? It started out as a bird dog kennel and slowly evolved into a full service boarding kennel with high standards and a loyal and continually growing following.
The current owners (Susan and Peter Gabor) have loved, nurtured and steadily guided its growth for more than 30 years. What an accomplishment. And we're still going strong. Susan and Peter are dog people. We've done it all: obedience, agility, conformation and breeding. We're most proud of donating (from our home bred champion stock) German Shepherd puppies to Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester Mi.
DOGGIE DAY CAMP: is the intelligent alternative to doggie day care. Your dog deserves one on one attention and that is what we offer at CEDAR LANE KENNELS. One of our trained staff and your dog will indulge in exciting games of Fetch, Treasure Hunt (find it-treats), Agility and Obedience. With no other dogs to distract it. Your dog will blossom in the individual attention it gets from one of our staff. And his desire to serve will be reinforced.
Many day care facilities' objective is to cash in on the popularity of canine group play.
We also want to make a profit. But not at the expense of your dog. We want to engage your dog in a positive learning (training) experience. Not group mayhem.
