This review is in regard to the site of the old Hudson City Cemetery part of the Cedar Park Cemetery. Absolutely horrible experience in finding the location of the grave-site I was searching for on a weekend, and I had the Section # AND the Memorial ID #. Your best bet would be to call ahead, visit during the week, in the morning, and get someone who works at the Cedar Park Cemetery to physically come out and assist you in finding a grave-site in the old Hudson City Cemetery location. There are so many missing, destroyed and/or illegible markers here that you will truly need ALL the help you can find! Whoever is in charge really needs to set up a map, on-site, near the old Hudson City Cemetery entrance, on the inside, as the original Hudson City Cemetery entrance gate appears to be permanently closed, and you will need to enter from other directions, showing where the different locations of each section are in the Hudson City Cemetery site, along with detailed maps of where each "Memorial ID #" grave-site is located in each of those sections. I realize, sadly, that all cemeteries are prone to vandalism, and the ravages of time, but the old Hudson City Cemetery is in an extreme case of neglect, and needs some serious effort by those in charge of the cemetery to show even a minimal respect! Propping damaged markers up against other unrelated still-standing markers is no help. Start by repairing those sections where surrounding plot guides have fallen down and covered grave-sites and grave-markers below them on the hill-sides. Put in more visual aids. Etc., etc., etc.!!! After several hours of searching, spread over two days, I was finally able to find what I was looking for, but it really should not have taken all that time and effort to do so!
Won't allow even basic lookups. Goes to the darn ads blocking my search. Genius
