we were passing through and decided to camp out in our jeep. we found this little hidden gem and the people here were very nice. it was affordable, we had privacy, could park almost anywhere behind the pond and it was quiet. Our dog loved it too and was able to run around. the perfect place for a sweet escape. we will be back. Restrooms: very clean! we were impressed. Dog-friendliness: very! Picnic area: we had our own picnic table .
Beautiful and quiet, we have a swing sets and pond that we can fish in, people are very courteous, I would recommend it to anyone yes we really have chickens
Great place to see the solar eclipse in 2017! People there were great to hang out with I wonder what happened to the reviews for this that were on here before. 5 year later shoutout to John hope you’re doing good John’s buddy who’s name I can’t friggin remember now and LeAnna. Next total solar eclipse will be in NW pa where I live. Yeah baby! I’m preying it’s a clear day like it was at Cedar Pond
Friendly hosts, less than 2 miles off the road. We were able to get a pull through spot for the night at a budget price. Clean and pretty, we walked our dog without the worry of stepping in poo! 30 &50 amps, full hookups. Minimal wifi speed, we used our phones.
Nice campground if you’re staying less than a few weeks. After that the “campground drama” starts to unfold among the people who live there full time. We observed frequent CPS and law enforcement visits to the resident campers around us. We moved to a less convenient, but quieter campground.
Well if you like tree limbs smashing into the top of your camper during storms or a pond with no fish. Shower houses arent cleaned very much. You can avoid the limbs and pine cones you can park on hill where its hot n not shade.
Easy access from I-20, decent sized with spacious camper spots, plenty room for tents, nice restrooms, fish pond, ~10 miles from civilization
Great campground, Mr. Doug keeps things up really nice. People are friendly. Great place for a quite weekend or long term.
Nice, quiet Campground. Easy going management . I could enjoy spending a couple of weeks there. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room to walk the dog. Nature is wonderful.
Caught a bunch of little blue gills and two keepers but threw them back too.It cost five dollars per person.
