Led by Bonhomme Hospitality (Disco, Black Bull, Bordel, Fulton Market Kitchen), CELESTE is a refined interpretation of the classic American drinking establishment, offering three floors of hospitality, with serious cocktails, welcome happy hours and fantastic late night dining.
CELESTE is known for one of the most innovative cocktail programs in River North, executed with fresh ingredients and small batch spirits pulled from a carefully curated collection of over 350 bottles. To round off our beverage program, the bar team also offers a quirky selection of season-appropriate beers that are produced by leaders in the craft beer community.
At CELESTE, your experience starts on the ground floor with the “PUB”, honoring the great tradition of the neighborhood public house, this space offers guests a more casual atmosphere, where all of our food and beverage menus can be enjoyed, while watching a game on one of four televisions during happy hour or while listening to one of our resident DJ’s in the evenings.
On the second floor, guests will discover the “DECO ROOM”, reminiscent of a glamorous, turn-of-the-century Chicago — a time of the World’s Fair, spirited architectural innovation, and a sense of new cultural pinnacles — and one of the sexiest spaces in the City. Here the menus are dialed up a notch with a special focus on hand-selected barrels, limited allocations, rare vintages, and large format cocktails.
Finally, on the top floor is our “ROOF GARDEN”, where a full transformation has been completed. Once an outdoor rooftop, the space has been enclosed and reimagined as a lush destination for guests to enjoy year-round candlelit nights under the stars. The rooftop has been appointed with Victorian-style furniture featuring tropical patterned upholstery to complement the English Garden-inspired space. Special evenings are being planned throughout the forthcoming season, including acoustic performances and themed parties.
Located at 111 W. Hubbard Street, CELESTE is open Tuesday through Friday from 5pm to 4am and Saturday from 5pm to 5am.
