Over 20 years of experience working with small and midsize clientele in variety of industries has provided me with the knowledge and experience to effectively and efficiently manage the accounting needs of my clients. My clients’ needs dictate my services and time allocation. From data entry to complete financial reporting and tax preparation, as well as training accounting staff, my goal is to help my clients optimize their resources for purpose of increased productivity as well as cost efficiency.
Knowledge & Abilities:
• Well versed in Accounting and Finance principles and guidelines with sound knowledge of handling day to day accounting tasks
• Proficient in QuickBooks (pro, Premier and Enterprise), MAS90 accounting software, Turbo Tax and Pro Series tax preparation software, ADP Pay Expert, Total Source and EZ time & Labor
• Familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Accounting Standards
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning and budgeting, as well as financial closing process
• Extensive knowledge of inventory valuation and accounting, Payroll accounting, and Tax accrual accounting
• Experienced in complete accounting cycle: set up, AP, AR, bank account reconciliation, reconciling and closing ledger accounts, preparation of financial reports
• Experienced in complete payroll cycle: set up, processing payroll, deductions & adjustments, quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and year end information returns as well as HR management, employee benefit programs, 401K
• Experienced in Sales and Use Tax return filings, business property tax filings,
• Experienced in maintaining Fixed Assets, depreciation, disposal and calculation of capital gain/loss
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in oral and written
• Possess strong management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
