This hospital was much closer to our house than our former which is why we chose it as the spot to have our second baby. The experience was great with attentive nurses and expert care. Leanna in the labor & delivery dept was especially helpful. The cafe only allows one meal for the husband per day, but the food isn’t all that great anyway… it’s hospital food, what can you expect ? Great place to labor and deliver.
I went in for tubes in my ears. I was told by the person who calls you beforehand to report to the desk on second floor for surgery. I was practically accosted by the front desk at the main entrance because they wanted me to check in with them first and I didn’t know anything about that. Went up to second floor and checked in. Now hospitals are supposed to be non disclosure and all private right? Well, they called my name and the clerk or intake person started rattling off my personal information out loud so everyone there could hear. She takes me inside the doors to weigh me and another intake person has another patient and following right behind me. I stated that I didn’t want her to ask me my personal information and get my weight in front of somebody else. The male patient stated the same and I turned around so his weight was confidential. Once they left, I continued on. Once in the privet room, where that is where one should be asked the questions, they had me undress for surgery. No underwear. I asked her what people who were menstruating wear. She did give me removable underwear. The surgery went well. I was given discharge instructions but nothing included my ear drops. If I hadn’t asked about them sitting on the counter on the side, I doubt I would’ve been given them. I had to ask what the dosage was too, but forgot because of the anesthesia. Hence, the reason it needed to be on my discharge instructions.
I would personally like to thank Cameron in radiology Diego in the ER Donna on first floor care. I originally came to the ER thinking I was having a small problem, but as it turned out, it was a major problem. All the staff members that I interacted with have been amazing, empathetic, understanding, and comforting. I like how modern the facility is in the layout of this hospital. I am glad this hospital is located near where I live.
Delivered my baby here. Amazing experience during the whole stay. Rooms were nice and clean. Nurses were professional and wonderful. You don’t really need to pack much for your hospital bag. They pretty much provide everything you need!
In all honesty - I’m shock to see that this hospital has only 2.6 stars. Me and my husband have had ONLY great experiences with this hospital in a lot of departments - immediate care, emergency care, pediatrics and the entire obgyn department. Everyone is always so compassionate and welcoming. I have delivered our baby girl there last week on August 16th, they took care of me my entire pregnancy. I can’t even begin to explain how much me and my husband LOVE the labor and delivery + postpartum nurses and the doctors. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we are comfortable, calm and have everything we need. I couldn’t even imagined that this experience that I was so anxious about would turn out as one of the best memories of my life and the nurses were a MASSIVE part of that so much that I didn’t really want to leave as they were such a massive help for us with our firstborn. I could write an entire list of names that made this experience so great but it would be too long and I’m afraid I would miss out on some names. Remarkable experience, thank you so much to the entire team
I will start off by saying that I gave birth here and the experience was great. However, I brought my 10 month old in who was experiencing rapid breathing and a very high fever and it took 15 - 20 minutes just to be seen to get her vitals. Then after her vitals were taken we were not seen for 3 hours and provided no update. After checking with the front desk, we were told they could not tell us her test results until we got a room. They could not provide us a room and we were told it would be a wait as 17 people were in the room and 7 people were ahead of us. It was pushing 10pm and I could not get an answer. We had to leave because my infant was screaming her head off because she was tired, hungry and cranky and obviously sick. The fact that they refused to give us our results until we had a room was mind blowing. People were waiting for 5 hours with no update. The emergency room is an absolute nightmare and needs major staff adjustments and a better system. People would rather leave because the wait is unbearable. Figure it out! When I told the nurse that my daughter had breathing issues and the nurse was not responsive, that should have been my red flag to leave.
My wife was in for 9 days in April for a surgical procedure and recovery. The entire experience from the ER to post surgery was great. Very attentive staff and wonderful people to deal with as they explained in detail all that was going to occur before it was done.
This emergency room has the worst customer service I have ever received. My mother came in with horrible stomach pain , nausea and dizziness. All we were told is sit down and we will see her shortly after 2 hours of sitting here with no updates. I asked the front desk representative again any updates and he looked annoyed and just said someone will be out shortly. If you don’t like talking to people you shouldn’t be working as a front desk. Save yourself the headache and take your loved one somewhere else.
This Emergency Room is an absolute nightmare. You will endure endless hours of waiting, while the staff's lackadaisical attitude suggests they have better things to do. Medical emergencies? Forget it – they're treated with all the urgency of a casual stroll in the park. The unprofessionalism is staggering – from their appearance to their demeanor, it's clear patient care is not a priority. This place is a danger to public health; if you value your life, stay far away. If this were the last option on Earth, I'd rather take my chances elsewhere.
No one wants to spend time in the ER, but this was the best ER visit I have had, ever. The clinic was clean, well ordered, easy to park at, my vitals were taken quickly, and I received care from a kind, competent team. I appreciated that there was a sign at check-in denoting how busy they were and how long I could expect to wait to receive care. I would 100% go back if I ever need to.
