Wonderful teachers, highly rated and safe public school. This school is far above the state average. I do not agree with the negative comment below. I have 2 children in this school and I don't know in what company this person hangs out, but my kids are super fine. No teenager is perfect and you will have in every school "rebels".
The teachers only care 50% of the time. The Dean abuses his authority. The bathrooms are always dirty, & there are never paper towels. The people are rude but, the classes are okay.
Teachers and staff are very caring and sensitive to the needs of their students. They show that they really want each student to be successful, not only in their classes, but in life.
I met Mr Stan Fouts there. After I lost my boyfriend you know what he said to me? He said don't give up High School and to keep going and that's just what I did I kept on going and I made it through some pretty happy times but there were some sad times also but Mr Fouts was always there for me when I needed him most. But on September 27 2011 was the worst day of my life. Mr Stan Fouts passed away from Liver Failer and now I am so lost and confused I can't focus on what I need to get done. I can't think right. I miss him so much.
I had a great time attending this school, although the rules and regulations here could be improved. Made alot of amazing friends through the JROTC program, highly suggest it
If you are not in ap or honors classes then you are stuck with students who don't care, and teachers who don't care, I see the principle at school maybe once every couple months, the admin don't care, there are always fights, all the teachers and admin ignore it unless there is a video making around other schools or parents, you walk into a bathroom and you get contact high, kids vaping in class, kids smoking weed outside or in the bathrooms, kids been caught selling or doing drugs and they only get a short suspension at most then return like nothing ever happened
Mr Camp is responsible for the lawn maintenance and has neglected his duties. Inconsistent and terrible.
The attendant in the front desk was very rude. We were checking out my wife's sister and she asked her for ID and tossed it back!
Happy that I'm to that school because my friends, cousin are there to help me And its lit it's always piped up
Great high school. School is being renovated this year.
