Great place to stay before surgery. Arrived Sunday evening had to get room key from emergency room. Everything was inside an envelope and ready to go. Parked in parking deck adjacent to the room. Not fancy but clean and convenient and half the price of other motels.Rooms: 5/5
Staff is kind. It is a decent place to stay with the price being $10 a night and convenient being close to the hospital with a baby in the nicu but the room could be cleaner. The sheets look gross and are flipped inside out as if they were never washed, and our room is infested with ants.Rooms: 2/5
AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!! I was scheduled for surgery on Monday, 6/28/21 and was referred by the physician's staff to stay at the lodge since I live out of town and surgery scheduled for 5:30 am. Since I was not able to be there before 2 pm on 6/27 I had to pick up my key at the ER, which the security guard was very polite. I drive to parking deck and my key does not work for the gate, so I had to push button to get ticket to get into the parking deck, which I lost. Finally found room and the key does not work. My son contacted the security guard department as instructed in the information packet. I had to waited for approximately 30 minutes to be get into the room and was informed by security guard that if I left the room I would have to contact security to unlock the room. the security guard was not very pleasant and appeared to be agitated that he had to open the door. Upon entering the room the area was not clean and the bathroom was worst. I was instructed by my physician to take a warm shower the night before surgery and the morning of surgery. There was no hot water for either shower. I informed the surgeon that I had to take both showers in cold water. She asked me to contact the lodge to complain. After I was discharged from out patient surgery I attempted to reach the lodge but no one answered the phone. I left message a detail message for the staff to contact me concerning the problems with my stay, but never received a return phone call. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LODGE !
The staff was very kind and sweet. The housekeeper, Patricia was a sweet heart. Really made our stay wonderful. Very professional and made sure we were ok. On the other had, the rooms could use some serious upgrading. Especially the bathrooms. Stained shower floors and mold along the shower wall. Shower door wouldn't close all the way. Too afraid to enter the shower without putting a towel down to line the shower. A little upgrade goes a long way.
110% GARBAGE! My mother has to have a procedure done tomorrow and decided to stay here instead of us driving early to arrive, we could just stay here..check in we decent…you have to go to the ER to get your room key…the ER?!? of all the other places you choose the one place all the sickness is? Next, after we get the room keys we find ourself to our room to find out the key DOES NOT WORK?!? Great, just great…so the paper says to call the security guard, a gumpy graveyard shift man answers abs says someone would be right over to let us in…15 mins later, nothing. I call back..he tells me his “officer” is having to fuel his “patrol car” not real sure but I think us standing in a hall with our luggage in hand with my handicap mom who cannot stand for long periods of time is priority…finally Paul Blart arrives with an attitude, unlocks the door and slings it open…so now still having no key that works he said each time we leave we have to call the guard shack to have someone open the door each time…how convenient well to top allllllll that off…there is NO hot water, the shower is nasty and looks to not have been cleaned for at least a year, there is trash all under the couch and an unidentified doo-doo stain on the wall next to the toilet…$100+ for this room is a joke, next time I’ll sleep in the parking deck, it’s much cleaner…
I gave the Centinnial Lodge a 4 star rating due to the hospitality we received. Everyone was so kind and helpful! As far as a 4 star hotel it is not. It is super clean! In time of need this is definitely the perfect place. They even give you free parking. We were blessed to stay here free of charge.
Wonderful place to stay when someone is in the hospital. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only complaint was there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. Cable was slim but we were too tired to care.Rooms: 4/5
Room was nasty. Had blood stained sheets. Tried to call several times during hospital stay and left messages because no one ever answered. Had to find another hotel. Came by during hospital stay and no one at front desk to ask for a refund waited for 45 minutes and no one ever showed.Rooms: 1/5
I would like to think the Bruno center and the hospitality Lodge for such a nice room and quality service it was much appreciatedRooms: 4/5
Enjoyed my stay last year with my mother's surgery...
