I absolutely loved visiting this beautiful and free park! Even on hot days, there are plenty of shady spots to find respite. The highlight for me was the serene lake, teeming with lively fish and adorable ducks. An enchanting island in the middle of the lake even hosts buzzing bee hives, adding a touch of nature's wonder. It was heartwarming to see families, kids, and people with pets, all enjoying this inclusive outdoor space. With something for everyone, this park truly caters to all ages and interests. Whether you seek tranquility, a fun day out with loved ones, or simply want to commune with nature, this park is an absolute gem. Make sure to visit the flower garden!
Beautiful lake, walking paths, and monuments located outside of The Parthenon. There is plenty of parking, which I believe is free. A great place to slow down and just enjoy nature!
Beautiful place for a picnic or to relax. Pond with wildlife, beautiful flowers and plenty of shade. My son and I played some catch and went to the Tailor Swift bench. Enjoyable time with family
I've never seen a play place for children here, Edit: there is a park right across the street from the Parthenon. It is clean, inviting and has shaded areas. but this is a beautiful and serene green space! The combination of tulips, Japanese cherry blossoms, daffodils and other flowers is soo beautiful. A perfect place to walk, jog, read a book, take pictures for a special occasion, write poetry or to just pleasantly share space. You simply must visit.
Centennial Park offers a beautiful lush environment in close proximity to the downtown area of Nashville. I decided to work from my laptop while enjoying a hot dog and a calming lake view. Parking was plentiful when I visited which only made the experience better. All in all a great way to spend leisure time and enjoy a breath of fresh air. Having the Parthenon as a backdrop only makes it better!

It's a nice place. Make sure to go there at night on summer as it's so hot out there. There's a lot of walking to do and few places to checkout. Nothing significant. Still a nice place. The globe on the water fountain was the most interesting for me. Yay! It actually had Sri Lanka on it
This park is the continuation of the very beautiful Parthenon, very well cared for. A great place to walk, talk, take beautiful photos, see animals and even ride a swing. I would like to see the detail of a photo that can be taken with the background of the tower of the University of Knoxville.
Nice urban park. Came on a Saturday and the place was absolutely mobbed and parking was a bit insane. Other than that though, a nice spot for a comfortable walk. Felt safe and enjoyable to spend some time in.
Very nice park, great views! Also, there was some kind of local festival going on and we experienced live music on open air in Nashville. People were calm and enjoying it. We loved to be there!
