This small park is maintained very well. The houses around it have lots of character. There's only 1 picnic table but you could easily lay down a blanket and go old school for your picnic lol.
Court had overgrown weeds and net was unplayable. In need of repair

I attended school there 1st grade through middle of 5th . Started there in Sept. of 52. The building had a large open area in the center, 3 floors high. It was a massive looking building. I spent a lot of time climbing in the big spreading Oak tree on the Wolf street side. Have a lot of good memories of the place.
Amazing Daddy, Mommy & Abigail time. Met a family from Barring Arkansas who was waiting for their appointment time at Children’s Hospital. God Bless the 4 of them. So sweet and kind. Hope all goes wel with the baby!
Park was dirty, a lot of trash around.
Peaceful quiet you can sit back and go back to past months or almost a year now so finally we going to try this and hope it does work and be blessing god for this reopening Jesse Powell Towers it was a blessing and a lot of prayers and churches is preparing for the reopening the high rise again.
My husband & I was on an day time date. Ans we had a great time swinging been young again. We had the best time ever.
I was there very late at night, no one there. Enjoyed the calm vibe. I now know there is a closing time on the park haha
I go there all the time with nice quiet and peaceful and clean
