CEHS’s research and graduate/postdoctoral training programs specialize in Toxicology, environmental health science, biomedical research and inflammation.
The overall research mission of CEHS is to improve human health through a better understanding of the impacts of environmental agents in causing or exacerbating diseases. Furthermore, a point of interaction for all CEHS investigators is researching inflammation.
Specific research areas in CEHS include Respiratory Toxicology and Immunotoxicology, Neurotoxicology, Cardiovascular and Developmental Toxicology, Epigenetics, Epidemiology and Exposure Assessment.
