When you shop and donate at the Center for Family Services Thrift Store, you are helping local families in Crawford County.
The history of the Center for Family Services dates back before the American Civil War. Good people recognize the needs of their fellow humans. For many years the agency had a clothing program that provided free items to very low income families. Rising costs urged a change in 2009 and the Thrift Store was opened to the Public. Free clothing is still given to local low income families and those experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence and disasters. Household items, personal care items, and diapers are provided through donations and the proceeds of the store. The Thrift Store also supports our Winter Coat program and Back to School Book Bag program.
