My son had an appointment with his pediatrician that he's been going to since birth. He's now 17. So this was his last visit to see Dr Buckles. She has been a great physician! We will miss her allot! I asked for copy of medical records to take to his new physician. Received those within a few days. Was surprised to have gotten them so quickly. If you need a good pediatrician contact Dr Buckles! We will miss her!
Cameron does the scheduling at the ENT office at CMA and he has been the best through my visits. He has worked with me so much and due to his amazingness he was able to get my surgery scheduled even when the hospital was having staffing issues and everything was out of his hands. He truly is the best, that smile lights up the office when you walk in no matter how bad you feel.
Set up appointment for PA Sanders Tuesday August 30. Night before appointment received text canceling - said could set up new appointment at 0815 on 09/06. I agreed. Received text on 09/05 confirming appointment at 0800 changed time. I agreed. Showed up for appointment at 0755. Processed in downstairs no problem. Told me to go to second floor and wait for doctor. Sat in waiting room for 20 minutes. Went to desk and asked Woman if Doc delayed. She said appointment was canceled AGAIN and she "just didn't have time to call me and tell me." Takes five seconds to dial a number. If they cannot remember to call you if an appointment is cancelled what else will they forget to do?
Dr. Dabrowski is absolutely amazing! He is always willing to answer any questions or work us in when needed. His staff is always kind as well! Being a first time mom I’m always worried when my baby is sick and they always do what they can to reassure us and help my baby! Keep up the good work!
Like all of SIH, the practitioners here are hit and miss. I've had great experiences with Alicia Cremeens, PA in Gastroenterology but VERY negative experiences with Dr. Haitham Hassan in Rheumatology. The lab at this location is much better and faster than Carbondale Hospital. I don't use Urgent Care often but I've found it's better to go to Shawnee.
Went to appointment. My temperature was too low to get in. They kept taking temperature and said I couldn’t be in building if my temperature wasn’t high enough. Had to be 96.0. Mine runs 95,8. Told them it ran low. Asked them to run thermometer back n forth across forehead to build friction and then try it. Still low reading. Had them do it again. Got 96.2. Sent me upstairs. They said I hadn’t registered went back downstairs. Went to 1st available. She told me to go to end and see man on phone. While I was waiting another patient came and was getting registered by person I initially went to. Man finished phone conversation. Said I was now 15 minutes late. So called up to 2nd floor and asked if they wanted to see me. I had explained all that had happened to him. He said they don’t want to see me because I’m late. I’m disabled as well. So it takes a little longer for me to walk to and from places. Not happy. I don’t know how many times I have waited much more than 15 minutes for an appointment with medical professional. Inexcusable behavior.
Once I was placed in a room, the nurse performed a strep test on me after I explained my cough was low on my concern list as I was there to be seen for a bad eye infection. After the strep test was performed, she left and I was left to wait in that room for over an hour. I understand prompt care can be busy and I didn’t mind waiting too much. What bothered me was that I heard the nurses talking and laughing outside my door about mixing up strep tests performed on me and other patients. The provider finally came in and asked whether I had a strep test performed and then informed me it was negative. I was weary of this result as I had heard nurses laughing about mixing up and losing results. They finally looked at my eye and gave me the wrong antibiotics that didn’t even start to clear my infection even after 2-3 days. I ended up getting a second opinion at a different Dr office and was finally given the proper antibiotics to clear my infection. I only hope I don’t have permanent scarring on my eye from being infected and inflamed for so long.
The lab has always hits my vien first time and I have a lot of blood drawn. The staff always seems to be friendly. And I being new to the area lucked out on my primary and got one top notch Doctor, Dr. Collie gets an A+ 5 star rating as does his nurses.
Went in on Monday around 6pm I told them my Dr had sent me because he thought I might have the flu and also I have pneumonia very easy. They said ok it will be 2 hr wait then after waiting the lady Dr said I can't test you for the flu and I can't do any chest x rays i cant help you you need to go to ER. That was after another 30 to 45 min wait. By that time I was so weak I couldn't make it to ER. I went to heartland reg early this morning and yes I have the flu. They knew why i was there. Why didnt they send me to ER.
1 star for Angela WHO CAN RUIN IT FOR OTHER PATIENTS. ATTITUDE CHECK, works for Dr. Haitham Hassan's office. Horrible assistance given there. Others should be happy to have a job
