Fantastic! I have enjoyed exploring the Central Coast with Geoff as a guide there are so many extraordinary fishing spots to experience in our backyard - from the surf, to rivers, and mountain lakes. Geoff and other instructors at CCFF are not only patient and knowledgeable - they are very fun! I have had loads of laughs with CCFF and the other customers/students/friends! Book a class or trip - or go buy some gear today!
Your only local fly shop with quality equipment and advice for the rivers, lakes, and surf. Never fly fished? Geoff is an excellent teacher and has classes from casting to fishing the beaches. See Geoff for all your fly fishing needs!
Nice shop and has everything a fly fisherman or woman could ever dream of. I found everything I needed and a few things I didn't. The personnel are very knowledgeable and friendly and made great suggestions helping me in my quest. I highly recommend this shop to fly fishers of all levels.
Geoff is a wealth of knowledge with local and statewide fly fishing and has an excellent selection of tying and fishing equipment readily available.
Geoff’s shop has the mom and pop feel I love and you don’t get online. I know if I stop in he’s going to be there to give me a hand with questions and offer suggestions. He’s also a good and patient teacher who encourages you rather than make you feel stupid like some other casting coaches. And hey, he’s also got a cool dog!
Geoff runs a great shop. He is personable and knowledgeable. From fly tying to rods, reels, waders and accessories, Geoff will give you honest opinion mixed with humor on the products he sells and other manufacturers.
Geoff helped me so much! Very knowledgeable and funny too… and his dog ain’t bad either!
Owner Geoff is always friendly, offers great advise and helpful and has a variety of fly fishing gear for the new or advanced angler.
The best equipment and solid advice. The owner is not going to sell you what is not right for you. Fortunately the the shop has reopened and is now at the Barnyard
Geoff Malloway hands down, is an incredible human. Going beyond the call. And his Carmel crack is to die for.
