If you need blood work, this team of people are going to be some of the most compassionate people in the field, find one near you for blood work, they accept walk-ins, but it's easy peasy, in and out no tears with an appointment. :
I got stuck here, one time. No, actually, many times. It's a busy place and they work hard to make your stay short and to the point. I love the staff and they draw the best out of me. Warning: Don't tease them or they'll needle you back! Are you a stickler for time??? Make a reservation, if you can figure out the Portal. Otherwise, you'll be pinned to your chair watching the other patients lose their patience ... It's a good group that works hard!
Had two consecutive draws on the same day for two different doctors. Some of the results on the reports differed by factors of 2-3 times. Inaccurate testing to say the least. The people doing the draws were nice and professional, but I doubt the lab itself knows what they’re doing.
Everything is as expected here. Building is clean, smoke space for guests. Often there's a wait, but if you don't want a long wait, get an appositive. It's simple! Lots of people get agitated over this, but it's going to happen wherever you go - at least around here. Friendly staff all around. The bathroom isn't the greatest, which is funny since some tests require you to use it! Only ever had one issue here and surely it was a mistake, but I'm paying much closer attention now.
They can never find the standing orders my doctor sends in. Even when I take a copy with me, watch them enter it, and then take it with me. And next time I go - we can't find your standing order. Plus, insurance billing - EVERY time I go in, they copy my insurance card. Cool. Then the billing people send me a bill. Guess what? Insurance doesn't work. Until I get the billing department and my insurance on the phone together - and it magically works. Recommend going to Pacific Diagnostic Laboratories. So much better.
With an online appointment the lab visit was quick, professional and friendly. I was in and out in 10 minutes.
Easy parking by Kohl's and Subway. Takes a little bit to go online and set up appointment but once it's done and you make your appointment it's a fast sign in and not a long wait.
Everyone is nice & professional. They are extremely busy and seem to enjoy the hustle bustle. My suggestion for everyone, please take the time to make an appointment.
I usually make an appointment for my lab work and that way it's pretty much an in and out visit but this last time walked in mid day right after a Dr appointment and they got got right to me. I am really hard to draw blood from and my tech was amazing. No pain at all
Horrible wait time. Standing room only due to spacing out chairs and removing so many. No one at front desk. Needed something simple done / picked up no bloodwork or anything but they were way under staffed. Staff could be heard complaining that they were done and it was an all around really bad experience. Been here several times in Paso. Never had a great experience. The one in SLO has always been easier and better.
