"We are a boxing academy that has several programs to help meet all of your needs. From Fitness Boxing classes that help with strengthening and teaching basic cardio boxing combinations. I am going reserve a higher rating just yet. We met with the owner Joey about what Ocala Boxing Academy offers; what Joey's outlook is on his business from a customer service perspective; what he envisions for a new member 13 year old, and even his testimony from where he started and why in the field of fitness, specifically boxing. That is what I was interested in most and honestly, I felt that he was honest and literally echoed the discussion I had with my wife 30 minutes prior to visiting and meeting with Joey. We are going to give Ocala Boxing Academy a try, actually, our 13 year old agreed to give OBA a try, even though he was hesitant at first, after listening and talking to Joey. More to come.
Excellent coaching and training environment. The academy has everything you need to take your training to the next level. Owners are really nice individuals, class acts. Recommend this gym in Ocala
The adult fitness instructor is encouraging and I love the adaptability of the workouts. My children have enjoyed the youth boxing class for over a year. With the addition of Jujitsu classes, everyone in my family has something fun to do at OBA.
Love this place! I am a single mom with 2 sons and was looking for something they could do together. I wanted a place and/or sport that they could gain self-confidence my eldest has been struggling a bit. I was so blessed to find Ocala Boxing Academy! From the minute you call to speak with Jessica to all the amazing trainers, everyone is so kind, thoughtful and actually there for my boys. The trainers listen to them, motivate them and make them feel important. There is a true team environment here! All the other students immediately befriended them and made them feel welcome. They have something for everyone here, all ages! So who knows maybe this Mama will get her kickboxing on! I have seen such a beautiful change and growth in my boys already, they are smiling more, sleeping better at night and growing in self confidence every day! Love it! I know this is just the beginning!
One of the friendliest and welcoming martial arts gym I've been in a long time! They will forever have my business. I recommend this gym highly! The jiu-jitsu class is taught by one of the if not THE highest ranked jiu-jitsu practitioner in Ocala. I look forward to continuing to take their classes. The membership is extremely reasonable and you'll never find the level of training you'll receive here anywhere else. If you're not there, you're wrong! Hope to see you on the mat!
I cannot say enough good things about OBA!! The gym is nice and clean and has everything you need to get a good burn!! Everyone there is so friendly and knowledgeable as well as super motivating to push you through your workout!! It’s practically a full body workout in just 1 hours time which is great for a busy mama like me!! I always work up a great sweat and feel so accomplished when I leave!! Thank you OBA for everything you do
The Ocala Boxing Academy Gym is an amazing place to work out at! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive! If your looking for a place to grow and improve your overall mindset and body this is the place to be! They push you to be the best you! I can’t thank the staff and coaches enough for all they do, there all very kind and want to see you succeed and improve just as bad as you do! I highly recommend the Ocala boxing academy gym to anyone and everyone who wants to see a difference in their bodies and feel safe and supported through their journey!
The Ocala Boxing Academy has been an awesome place for my two boys. The owners Jessica and Joey listened intently to what I was looking for and then came through with what my boys exactly needed. All the coaches are terrifically motivated to teach, instruct, and push the students ages young to old. Coach Jon is especially amazing. He gets to know each student and pushes my boys to be their best! I would recommend OBA to everyone.
The best boxing gym in Ocala hands down. Great owners, trainers, and staff as well as an amazing community. A great experience all around.
Ocala Boxing Academy is awesome!! Most amazing coaches. Every workout challenges u and helps you become and be the best version of you.....coaches are super motivating and helpful. No matter what level you are in they will meet you there. Not an intimidating atmosphere. Thumbs up!! Would highly recommend.
