Central Florida Community College Bookstore

When I try to call the bookstore for questions on books no one ever answers during their times of operation. I live an hour away, and often times when I do make the journey there I am told a book was a code sent to my email that ended up in spam or something of the like, something that would’ve turned a two hour commute into a 2 min phone conversation.

Signed me up to Chegg for 6 months without my permission.

Staff was helpful and polite. Store was stocked and organized. Wait time was minimal. The staff is doing their best with the tools they are provided. The shipping/pickup logistics, website, and prices could use a LOT of improvement. Most of that is not the bookstore's fault but their partner Barnes and Noble. It is a nightmare using Barnes and Noble's website they provide the school. When it actually loads it is confusing, cobbled together, and clearly permanently left in some early stage of beta-testing. Find another partner who can provide a better end user experience.

They will let you in the store and come into contact with them just to tell you that you have to go online to sell back your books because it is contactless... makes sense right? That is CF as a whole for you. Cannot recommend a different school enough.

No matter when I visit the bookstore the staff goes out of their way to assist me. They often have sales which you can get some great items. I love the prices on the books they put on sale from kid books to instructional books.

I am going into my second year at CF. I really like the school, has a very "small town feeling" but still offers a great education. Tuition is low, there are several different clubs, and for the most part the instructors have been great.

I do not recommend these people helping you get a book or ringing up the books. THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG BOOK. I OPENED IT. NOW I CAN NOT RETURN IT. NOW IT WILL COST ME ANOTHER 100$ TO GET THE CORRECT BOOK FOR MY CLASS. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS BOOKSTORES EMPLOYEES. THEY NEED TO BE TRAINED BETTER.

I always have issues with the staff here. I ordered some books and have been trying to check on the order since December 23rd but they never pick up the phone. Usually unhelpful, always have an attitude if you try to ask a question.

I've learned to view the books I need through the textbooks link under my schedule and order them online. This way I can just go pick them up and not have to wait in line during the first couple of days after classes start because it's crazy in there.
