DO NOT SCHEDULE HERE!! I am new patient and had an appointment this morning at 8am that I scheduled over 2 weeks ago the office called me at 7:10am to reschedule my appointment because the provider was not going to be in after I had already requested the day off work and dropped off my daughter for child care. The office very unprofessional was not able to give me another appointment and told me I could practically go spend the day at the office as a “walk-in” hoping someone would miss their appointment and I could maybe be seen but there was no guarantee. Safe your time and go somewhere else! Not professional at all!!
The doctors are nice but unfortunately the billing department keeps double billing me, billing my dental insurance for medical visits and not responding to my calls. Now the bills are in collections for some reason, when I was never notified by the office they were due, and no one answers me. So here we are
If I could give 0 stars to this place I would. Safe your time and money and go somewhere else. Went there for a check up for my son to get a referral and they sent me home with a school paper and no referral. After 2 weeks calling them they finally tell me that it wasn’t even a doctor that checked my son it was a nurse and because of that I can’t get the referral. They should of at least tell me that there was no doctor assigned to me when I did the appointment my son’s doctor is not longer at the center and they just booked me with him without telling me he wasn’t there and that someone else was going to see him and I haven’t even mention the people that work at the call center, the worst!!!!! Please stay away from here!
Past 2 appointments I came here for prenatal care and they said they didn't know why I was scheduled. 1st time was because it was too soon to hear the heartbeats today I was told it was going to be the NIPT test and it turns out they don't do labs on weekends. 90 dollars wasted over the past two appointments because they make you co pay before you're even seen. Finding a new care provider asap.
Worst doctor's visit I've ever experienced in my life. Dr Buchanon is completely unprofessional and has an abhorrent bedside manner. The staff failed to register my insurance information even after submitting it online and in person. Dr Buchanon then berated me about the amount of care he couldn't provide and then blamed me for not having insurance. He complained about not having the ability to do what urgent care had already done and asked why I bothered even coming to him, even though he's my PCP! What a joke of a doctor. The staff laughed when I said the experience was the worst of my life and that their doctor had no business having a medical license. They said they get that all the time and scheduled me with another practitioner there. Needless to say I will avoid this place like the plague and cancer combined. I feel bad for the people who put up with being treated this way. You deserve better.
The staff and Doctors are great. I never wait longer than 10 to 15 minutes. There are some days some of the staff are not so friendly but 99% of the time there are no issues ever. It's never packed when I go and I get in and get out. I'm also listened to and taken care of.
Went here for OB/GYN and they're amazing. Nice clean area and are open to any and all questions. I get in and out the door in no time. Always friendly when I walk in. Thorough when examining as well. I highly recommend the OB/GYN Dr. Sapp. She's amazing.
Update: 2 years later, still here! My GYN department is Amazing. I start with my new GP tomorrow, and have heard nothing but great things! I feel cared for Original: All of my experiences here have been amazing. From check-in to medical staff. Everyones is light and nice, and thorough.
I had a good experience with my NP, Ruthie. She was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable for the entire visit. I went to another OB for my first visit and feel much more comfortable in her care than I did with them. The office is old, but clean. However, my husband was not allowed back with me during my visit. With this being my first, and likely only, pregnancy this is very important to both of us. It is nearly a deal breaker which is unfortunate since I liked Ruthie so much. I have spoken with others who have not had this issue at other OBs, even during Covid. Another downfall is they do not have an US tech to do your US in house so you have to make another appt elsewhere. Not a deal breaker, but good to know. Not sure if I will be continuing my care here due to my husband not being able to come to my appointments when I know he can be more involved in my pregnancy elsewhere. Very unfortunate.
I Love this place! Especially my Nurse Practitioner Amelia Knight!! She is the best! I have seen a few of the other Dr's and Nurse Practitioners there most are good...only one I complained about but he is no longer there Thank goodness! Amelia Knight is very thorough, thoughtful and genuinely cares about you as a person not just as another patient she has to see to get though the day like some Dr's and Practitioners make you feel.
