Very professional, great communication, the best medical office/ agency I have ever used. Dr. Neelgund is knowledgeable, open, understanding, and probably most importantly really cares about his patients. I never felt like a number or just another client case in a filing cabinet.
This is the worst medical office I have ever dealt with. Appointments get get cancelled with zero notice, and the doctor is constantly cancelling. This is for psychiatric health of a child, and it’s so dangerous to keep cancelling. They cancel appointments without noticed then send me texts asking if I want a follow up visit for something that never even happened. This place should be shut down.
AVOID THIS OFFICE. Worst administrated office of any kind I have ever been to. Calling their office gives you about a 1 in 10 chance of someone picking up. You can leave as many voicemails as you like and no one will call you back. When I finally reach someone, they advise to 'text or email' despite the issues being the office's fault and needing immediate remedy. Asking about the voicemails is useless. As a patient of over 4 years I am still subject to this poor service and do not feel confident in relying on this office for my medical needs. The other reviews will show that I am not alone and this has been an ongoing issue. Please do yourself a favor and find another practice.
100% avoid just for the office staff alone regardless of the quality of the doctors Office staff is about as close to incompetent as possible. There was a genuine mix-up with refilling a prescription requiring a prior authorization causing a multi-day delay in having it go through. However, I was given blatantly false information multiple times and was ignored They told me the pre-auth was submitted twice, but they meant it was submitted within their office and not to the insurance company, which I didn't find out until I called my insurance. I then had to do the legwork with the insurance company to find how to expedite things and passed the information along in an email during off-hours. The email was ignored and the exact same instructions were ignored again when I called and spoke with them. It took nearly 8 hours to sort out what should've been maybe an hour or two worth of problem for necessary medication after it had already been delayed for 2 days More to the point, their voicemail is always full and they're borderline impossible to get ahold of, including through their text messaging service
The most incompetent and negligent office and doctors I’ve had to deal with in my life. My fiancé’s doctor told us he had approved his anti depressants for a year when he didn’t. Every month there has been a lapse in his medication because we have to go through hell just to try and contact the office or the doctor. NOBODY PICKS UP THE PHONE. The text line is a joke. The only, and I mean ONLY way to get in touch is to physically go to the office and demand to speak to the doctor. They haven’t even gotten his insurance billing right. I’m am literally shocked they haven’t been sued.
I used to have the greatest doctor in this office until he transferred, and I was stuck with Dr. Kahn, who is nothing short of terrible. The entire office is a joke, and a disgrace to the battle of mental health. Getting in touch is impossible, and even with the pandemic, and adding a text line, getting in touch with the office takes days, however when you show up in person to pick up samples you’ve spent weeks requesting because your doctor Kahn, doesn’t remember to send ALL of the same prescriptions in she’s supposed to have been sending for months, there are multiple people in the office, yet no one in contact with patients. This office has been nothing but an added stress. I have been waiting for over A week for a prior authorization that should’ve already been sent in, have been unable to get a live person from the office, and no responses from the text line in regards to an update. I am only looking forward to finally getting all of my prescriptions set for a straight month so that I can find any other office and doctor to help me. I work in health care and try to be understanding; this constitutes no sympathy, I am the patient. In conclusion, WORST OFFICE EVER .
SO UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It has been 9 months since I have been able to get in contact with Dr. Khan. During the pandemic, Dr. Khan randomly stopped prescribing my medication which I desperately need. Mind you, I have been taking this exact medication continuously for years now. No matter how many calls or emails you make this office will not answer you. They do not care about you they only care about money. Because of this office I endured awful side effects from randomly stopping my medication. No one picks up the phone at this office and the voicemail is always full. It is December and I have not seen Dr. Khan since before this March. I have been unable to get in touch with the office and had to go to my primary physician to get my medication prescribed and she told me that multiple people from central jersey behavioral health are experiencing the same thing. Awful communication. Central jersey behavioral health does not care about their patients.
I have gone here for years and was originally very happy until my doctor retired. I have now run into a situation where my new doctor is just completely unavailable. I was supposed to have my medication refilled weeks ago. He never sent it through. I called the office, my pharmacy called the office...all multiple times and NO reply. I was without my medication for a week before I finally got a hold of someone. This is unacceptable and I will be looking for a new doctor.
On 5/10/21 I called Central Jersey Behavioral Health, LLC’s office to obtain a first-time appointment for my 10 y/o who said that she wanted to cut her wrists and needed a medical clearance to go back to school. I was scheduled for a virtual meeting on 19th at 4:30pm and submitted all the requested intake documents. Early on the 19th I received a confirmation email stating that the meeting will be their office. I reached out to the office by phone left a message, sent a text and email to get clarification as if the appointment will be face- to- face on by phone. Due to the lack of the respond and the emergency of the situation I went to the Dr. Kahn’s office. I got there at 4:06, while in their parking lot I received a text message stating the meeting was confirmed by phone. I went home. At 4:35pm I called the office to find out why no body called. I was told that they will reach out to the Dr. Khan to find out the reason of the lateness. I got a text message saying Dr. Kahn is running late and she will be call me in 10 minutes. After a while Dr. Kahn called, she was clearly upset; she yells at me said that she cannot give me a clearance before this supposed to be a phone call and that she needed more documents. I was trying to explain to her that unfortunately the office mixed up that I was waiting for this appointment for almost 10 days, and my child needed this clearance to go back to school. She asked me some questions about my child. I explained some of the history. In a very upsetting tone and yells that I needed to take my daughter to ER. I told her due to COVID I do not feel comfortable taking her and if I needed a face-to-face meeting, I was willing to do that and submitted all the documents they required and that I was willing to provide her with all the documentation and history that she needs. She said that I was over power her and I asked not to raise her voice at me, and she hang up the phone. Dr. Kahn was beyond unprofessional, lacked empathy and unfit to deal with people in their most vulnerable state. Isabel G.
I have been going to Central Behavioral Health for the past 3 years. I think that the customer service and the value of people attending your health issues is declining tremendously!!!!! I feel totally disgusted as how I have been treated in that place! First of all, BEWARE PEOPLE!!!! God forbid if you have accidentally missed your appointment, you are automatically charged a $50 fee on top of your co-pay for your visit!!! NO EXCUSES!!!! WHERE IS THE HUMANITY IN THIS???????? Oh but it seems that they have forgotten once when I showed up, a therapist had to cancel my appointment at the last minute due to an emergency he had and I happened to know about this when I stepped in their office!!! Well today, I was surprised with my $50 fee when I had accidentally forgot a missed appointment and called them up quickly to reschedule. I had apologized and she said it was alright and fine, NEVER!!!! mentioning she was going to charge me of that $50 fee. As I was paying for my co-pay today, another receptionist told me that it seems I had missed an appointment and she had the audacity to ask how I would like to pay for $50 fee. I told her I was never told about it and she stood quiet. So I had to end up paying for that! Mind you, they had charged me another time of $50 fee when I was unaware they were the ones who made the appointment without my acknowledgement! I am totally fed up with their service!!!!!! The therapists I have met, likes to talk to you but never resolves your problems or techniques. They look like they are the ones that need HELP!!!!!! Also, when I do see my psycharist, he is always rushing me out without properly talking to me. If I have to mention something, he will cut me off without finishing my sentence!!! Then, I am off on my way out of his door, after a 3 minute conversation!!! WOW!!! I sure got some excellent service that was worth of my $100 penalty pay!
