Great grocery store. I loved how well lit and huge the aisle are. This place has it all for a grocery store. It has a huge deli with lots of selections of salads and sides. Other options are chicken and soup and sald bar. Has a coffee shop inside as well. They slice fresh meats there and has a very big produce and cheese sections. Great bakery and floral area as well. The nicest bathrooms I have seen at a grocery store. Place is a little spendy.
The store itself is fine. It's clean, the employees are helpful and the selection is very good. However, the prices are getting to be very unreasonable. There's certainly nothing wrong with supporting a local business, but when you have prices on things that are almost double what you'd pay almost anywhere else, it makes it way too hard to do so. I wish I could support CM, but it's just not feasible. I can just as well go to Aldis or even the Cash-Wise in Moorhead and get a much better value.
Very nice market. Clean. Loved their taco dip. Its a yearly tradition for when we visit. It changed this year. No flavor. Wont be buying it again, especially at the price they charged. Can make one 1000 times better did so last year when we saw how much they charged. Lost a yearly sale from us on that, but still bought other groceries we needed.
I like this store. We don't live very close to it. So we only stop here on our way back from somewhere. They have a large and quality deli. So we picked up some broasted chicken and pasta salad to bring home. They seem to have a good selection of all foods. I wish there was one in moorhead.
We really like this grocery store, the selection is good and they have lots of ready to go foods. The one HUGE problem is lack of common sense on pricing, the prices are completely out of touch with reality - sometimes exceeding twice the price of other stores. This needs to change i they want to survive. Otherwise a very good grocery store.
Wouldn’t recommend going to anytime after 7. Three employees working the front, and less customers than that at this time. I asked if they could grab a cut of meat from the case for me, as they had run out in the self serve aisle. Meat was cut and stocked in the cases When I asked what I can only assume is the manager for assistance, her response was that she didn’t have anyone to open it for me. On my way out, she and her 2 employees were standing ariound, with no customer in sight. I always like to support local, but won’t be going back after the even worse than lack luster customer service. I’m
Had everything that I needed on a quick stop for grabbing some miscellaneous items. The store was well laid out and very clean. The prices were no doubt on the higher end in comparison Aldi and Walmart however it seems like it is so hard for local grocery stores to compete with national cooperations so it is nice to see a smaller store, clean, well stocked and seemingly doing well.
I come here often and the meat department seems to close earlier and earlier. Pretty ridiculous for a department that isn't self serve to be lights off by 6:30 PM on a weekday. I heard another customer ask the meat employee if they were still open...and instead of just helping, he proceeded to tell them no and then some story that I didn't hear. Pretty wild to have an employee refuse to even help - I know they missed a pretty substantial sale from me. I grew up around the grocery business and I'm not sure I've seen or heard of such a thing. Good/great produce most of the time, can be crazy prices though. And overall, prices are absolutely insane. I get that there aren't a ton of options in town, but these are oppressively high. I hate giving Walmart moneyI love Aldi, though!, but Central makes the choice pretty easy. Just be careful what you buy and you can get good/great products at a reasonable price.
Central Market is always a stop for me when I am in DL or driving through. The store is always clean, employees are helpful if you need anything, and right when you walk in there is a coffee shop/ juice bar to get you started on your adventure. They carry a wonderful selection of items for GF, organic, and the best selection of teas anywhere. I also love their Amish chicken, which you’ll see in one of the photos. I’ll buy 3-4 and stuff them into the freezer. I also love love love their floral department. Florals have always been fresh for me and last a while. On your way out grab something delicious from the bakery and a hot dinner plate from the deli area before driving back home 1 hour away! Enjoy!!
Amazing deli and meat department! Just felt like everything was higher price than other places in town.
