My experience with my counselor at Central New Mexico Counseling has truly been impactful to how I see myself and how I make better decisions in my life. Before I came here I was completely betrayed by a counselor and his supervisor, really and truly completely betrayed. I didn’t want to go to another counselor ever again. My counselor at Central New Mexico Counseling is Patricia. She has restored my trust and has truly given me tools to become the person I want to be. She has helped me in too many ways to explain.
If I could put no stars I would! Michael is the most unprofessional counselor I have ever seen. He after meeting my fiance two times for 45 min each time he told my fiance he didn't know why he was in this relationship without even knowing background information or me. I have been in therapy before and my fiance went here for help not for some biased one sided opinion . Michael single handedly ruined my wedding! Counceling is supposed to help you work out your problems not give personal one sided opinions. I will be reporting him to the licensing commity for his unprofessional egregious actions! I see why they only have 3 stars those reviews mush have been on ther therapist because I know first hand Michael is a unprofessional quack! Dont waste your time or put the state of your relationships in his wacky hands he will not help you he will make it 100 times worse like he did to us! Michael deserves 0 stars needless to say my fiance does not attend here anymore! We are now working with a real professional to work out our original isssues as well as try to clean up the mess and very bad unprofessional advise Michael gave! He should be fired!!
If I could give zero stars I would buy One star is the lowest I can rate. This is the most unprofessional counseling facility in Los Lunas they told me to call when I’m in the parking Lot for my 10:45 appointment, no one answered and no one opened the door when I went up to the locked door. Before hand the receptionist told me I don’t have to wear my mask or follow the governors orders to do so once I got back to my counselor. I highly do not recommend going to Central New Mexico counseling. It’s already 11:35 and I refuse to even put myself through this unprofessionalism I haven’t even got a return call to reschedule or anything, clearly they’re not concerned about my mental health and I don’t believe they will care about yours either!!
Went to Patricia for Couples Counseling. On intake with me I was told "we don't always get what we want" when I said I wanted my marriage to work. On the first session, she told me to "get over" my cancer that I just finished treatment for and am still in the surgery reconstruction phase of. She kept referring to herself and that she had surgery on her head and on her breast when she was young wasn't cancer and that she knows what's its like. She blamed me for attacking all the time and then, the last session, said she wished she had a husband like mine. She completely ignored that there are two of us and that WE both have a part to play in our marriage needing help. She was very unprofessional.
If I could give less I would. Gas is $5 a gallon and they have stopped telemedicine. SMH in a time when people need help the most they fail.
Went in for couples counseling and meet with Patrica the worst person to go to. Has no relationship and from the start just suggested just to not be together. Never helped solve problems or even knew my name until the 3rd meeting. Also judge me even though she never said two words to meet in the first meeting. All she would say is well maybe if I had put more in my relationship. She shouldn’t be a couples counselor when she has no idea how to have a real relationship. She has no idea what is wrong in relationship or how to offer help pretty much for nothing for $300 of sessions. Find someone else for your needs!!
I have had the same counselor here for a long time and feel that he really cares. The office staff is great too.
The receptionist are really nice but the councler we saw was not trustworthy and unprofessional granted she did help me try to keep my son in school but then made a referral to send my kid to a treatment center so I didn't like her because I came for help and she broke our trust
I’ve been going here since November 2017 and I couldn’t recommend them any higher. They’ve helped me so much. Everyone there is so friendly.
This is a very therapeutic practice! Love this place!
