We believe everyone should have access to the best climbing gyms to get introduced to the sport and train to become better. Central Rock Worcester is part of the Central Rock Climbing Centers chain dedicated to providing the best climbing experience in the region. We train experienced climbers and beginners alike. We have 14,000 sq ft. of climbing terrain, weights, exercise equipment, yoga, and event facilities. We have personal instruction, and staffing available for just about any occasion.

Love yoga or want to start? We have brand new instructors an a brand new schedule set up to fit your needs. Also, classes are FREE for members! So come on down and try them out!

Great and challenging experience. This was my first time at this location and the third climbing gym I’ve been to. This was by far the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve encountered. I only did the bouldering, and certainly didn’t get bored. Plenty of challenging routes and having two buildings to explore was awesome. Definitely recommend this gym.
We love this place! My girls ask to come here whenever we're in town. A few hours of climbing does wonders for them. Such a cool activity and CRG has plenty for all ages. Reasonable rates for a day pass we usually climb for about 2 hours. Clean facilities and a great helpful staff.
Great spot to meet even greater people. Climbing atmosphere is great, two buildings with climbing and small gym setups. They even have a third building with yoga class 7 days a week! Can’t beat it value wise and quality wise, amazing.
Great rock climbing gym. Our children have been really interested in rock climbing so we signed up for a membership. The facility is very nice with a wide variety of routes and plenty of space. There is a nice workout area with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebell, and machines. A smaller building has a variety of bouldering routes and another workout area. Friendly staff, and a clean facility.
Central Rock Gym is awesome! We had the pleasure of working with Erica and John. They helped my wife and I feel prepared and confident on our first visit to the gym. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return!
Bouldered. Good climbing but grades maxed out at V9, so it depends on what you are looking for. New bouldering and fitness area added a lot to the existing facility. Full size campus board now. Would have given 5 stars, but the gym is still missing a few of the modern amenities. Any brand training board or even a spray wall, a variety of hang boards think there was only 2 and none in the annex building, sauna.
Awesome, so much fun. Deff get a staff member to assist you, it will make your first time so much better. Erica was ours and she was great! Thanks!
First place I ever climbed in. Less than a month later, I decided to become a member and have been one ever since. The Central Rock Gym separates their routes using hold colors which is much better than gyms that put stickers near each route. The gym is clean and staff if very friendly. A member of the staff, James, had a strong role in getting us into the sport.
Great bouldering and top rope in all styles. Even some autobelay for losers like me who can't find a belay partner.
They do a good job at changing up the routes and the place is kept clean. My boys have had their birthday parties there and had a great time. During one of the though the birthday room was also the staff break room and it was quite the mess that we had to clean prior to using it. Other than that great facility!
