BEAUTIFUL Resting Place for a well deserved Officer, LTC David W. Ross. A TRUE example of how to be a 'Servant Leader'. You'll be missed Friend #SALUTE
Attended the funeral of a friend's dad. It is a beautiful location.
They conducted a very impressive service with full military honors. I was so thankful for their sincere respect. Dad is truly resting in peace exactly where he belongs.
I love how the community takes care of the veterans here. The cemetary hosts ceremonies at Memorial Day. They also do a ceremony to put out wreaths in Nov and take them up in Jan. Many come out to support these efforts. Thank you to the workers and all involved.
I was very disappointed with my grandpa's service. It is not what he would have wanted. None of it felt special or honoring. It felt rushed and it seemed like whoever was running it didn't care much.
My best friend and his wife were laid to rest today together. Beautiful service with taps and flag ceremony. I know they're in a better place and a beautiful resting place.
Beautiful final resting place for a fallen soldier. The director even gathered four spent shells from the salute, and gave them to my mom, one for each of the four children of the fallen soldier.
Wreaths are put up for the Christmas season and removed just as methodically in January. . I want to remind folks that the Cemetery does not allow "decorating" the graves. If you are sending flowers, even potted plants are not left on the graves . The result is the place is immaculate. No leaves, petals, blown debris even after a windstorm . I need to also let Texas military service folks know that unlike the national cemeteries, you can come sign up for a spot.before needed. You will want to contact the office to make an appointment. and it helps your survivors if you have a preneed funeral arrangement cause they will coordinate to get your services , 21 gun salute, flag service, headstone inscription etc
This place is so beautiful, my Dad and my Big Brother are both there. I love whenever I go to see them, everything is always so clean and beautiful. The memorial walls are amazing as well, my son stood there for hours just reading it and taking in the meaning of it all. The only thing I was upset about was no one told me you couldn't leave things, and my son and I had left a little car and a brother/sister ornament for my brother several years ago when he was first there, and they were disposed of without notice. That was pretty hurtful. Other than that though, my experience through two funeralsfor two men who were very important to methere has been amazing. They were very caring and understanding, and maybe they did tell me the rules, I was just in a state where I wasn't really hearing much of anything. Thank you to them for taking such good care of my loved ones final resting places
I went to see my friend Rosa who is laying in eternal rest and the grounds are kept in pristine condition. This honors the military personnel the way they should be honored and that would be with respect, honor, grace and Valor. I am thankful this cemetery exists as this is where heroes go to reunite! For all buried there I am forever grateful for your sacrifice and this includes the spouses that are also there. Mahalo!
