My wife and I enjoyed the Center everytime we visited family in Centralia. Everyone is friendly we never played pickleball before and we had an amazing time, some of the players were willing to share tips on how to play and have fun. My wife liked the Silver Snickers class and Yoga. The recreational center has a weight room with good equipment, a pool, and walking track.
I enjoy going here most times. Best indoor basketball courts in town. Pretty good workout equipment in the gym and the trainers are great to work with. Very nice walking track which is usually not too busy, 1/12 a mile per lap. Staff are usually very kind and easy to talk to. Also comes with a pretty nice pool. On the negative side of things, they're a bit inconvenient on hours, closing at 8pm most times, but for some reason closes an hour earlier in summer. Hot tub always seems to be closed. Basketball court often gets booked for private things, and not available for public use during those times. Also prices seem to continue to go up without gaining any extra services. All-in-all pretty good experience, but would call first to make sure the services you want are available at said times.

I’ve traveled across the country as a RN and it would be nice to see the YMCA take over ownership of the Centralia Recreation Complex. I feel like if the YMCA took ownership they would have the investment potential to improve the community in several aspects. The YMCA would be able to renovate the main facility/outdoor pool and develop programs for the community in conjunction with hospital systems like SSM or HSHS. I feel like this could create positive growth for the City of Centralia like other communities I’ve witnessed the YMCA help in the area.
I have been swimming and taking a few aerobics classes here for 27 years now. Very therapeutic.

Very nice place for kids and it has a lot of things your need a walking place or place for rehabilitation after you get out of in a release from the doctor physical therapy and stuff like that you can work on your own pace
I like the Centralia Rec Center. I sometimes go there to exercise. They have a very nice track to walk. The exercise room has all the weights and equipment you need. The pool is very big and nice for a swim. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I wish my town of Mount Vernon had something like this. Not only do you have an indoor pool, a gym, an exercise room, private showers, as well as a track to walk but there is also a water slide to go on. It's not a really big water slide but it is a very decent size. My town has no recreational facility at all so I make the trip all the way up there just so use the exercise room and the pool. The rates are not that bad either at $4.50 for an adult. Highly recommend
