The Centreville Volunteer Fire Department, located in Centreville, Virginia, 20 miles west of the Nation's Capital, has been providing Fire and Emergency services to the community since 1957.
The Centreville VFD works in a combination system with the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department. Fairfax County career personnel staff one Advanced Life Support (ALS) Engine Company, and one ALS Medic Unit at Fire Station #17. The Volunteers may come in and suppliment the career staff, or if qualified crews are available, staff additional units. The CVFD currently maintains 2 Engine Companies, 2 ALS medic units, 2 BLS Ambulances, an SUV Utility, a Canteen unit, and a Chief's Buggy in the fleet.
The Centreville Volunteer Fire Department also hosts Bingo every Tuesday and Saturday evening. Doors open at 4PM, sales start at 4:45PM, and early birds start at 6:45PM. Please come out and support your local volunteer fire department!
The mission of this organization is to provide fire prevention, fire protection, and emergency medical services in partnership with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department to citizens of Centreville, Fairfax County, and surrounding communities.
