Great experience!! Lots of this to do with the kids. You can take food in and have a family picnic.
Close to border, clean, they sell different items to munch on. Nice place to sit and relax on a park bench while eating a raspado w/ fresh fruit that you can get across the street from park. Kids like this place too!
Really nice park. Community active. You'll find a mini carnival on the side road. Events. Singing. Chess tables. Food stands. Family-oriented.
Nice place, certain pm days there's free music n activities, note I was told parking is free olong the streets of the park! Park side! streets across park pay is required. Picnic area: Available
Free Parking, but hard to find empty spots. There's options if you utilize the parking pay machines around the area. Noticed streets a bit dirty but at least nice people .
Always a joyful park, where people congregate, children play, food to buy, often with some music, perhaps some dancing
Beautiful park. With lots of tree and tables/benches.
There are many things to see although its a very small park, there is people dancing, singing, playing boardgames, etc. They sale tacos, cotton candy, ice cream, ice pops, and several souvenirs among other things.
Excellent food and family environment
I visit this historic park frequently. They have different vendors, some of who have been there for generations, with delicious street food like corn, esquites, aguas frescas, and my favorite, tacos al vapor. These scrumptious tacos are made of steaming hot potato and beef with all of the trimmings; a red spicy salsa, green tomatillo salsa, jalapeños, picked onions and finely sliced cabbage. You can eat them there or take them to-go. The vendor is friendly and funny. He is located on the edge of the park in front of the church before entering the kids playground area. He makes 350 tacos the old fashioned way. The park also has festivities, festivals of different states or themes, performers, fairs, live music throughout the year. You can use the clean public restrooms for 5 pesos.
