Certified Advanced Rolfing is an integrative approach to reducing asymmetric strains and patterns in the fascia of the body that causes pain & inhibition
Certified Rolfing facilitates and re-integrates the tissue and nervous system to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus relieving pain, reducing compensations, and enabling a more authentic expression.
Certified Advanced Rolfing is an integrative approach to reducing asymmetric strains and patterns in the fascia of the body. These fascial strains can sub-optimally disrupt the homeostatic mechanism regulating the aggregate structural continuum. Furthermore, the continuum is systemic and includes all body systems, the aggregate structures including but not limited to the extracellular matrix. Reducing the asymmetric strain of the aggregate as it relates to the relationship of the skeletal system is an optimal approach to a Health Science Process Approach. The systemic physics and organic mechanics of the skeletal system have been extremely predictable in the majority global population for the past 200,000 years or more. Likewise, the mechanics and skeletal asymmetry are also highly predictable and as a result, the effects between them that cause inhibition and pain are too. Skeletal types are encoded and transcripted in the genome and begin expressing at inception but are not fully visibly expressing during the early stages of embryogenesis. Assessing the skeletal type and resolving the asymmetry and the aggregate effect as it relates to what is "genetic for each individual is the optimal approach. This baseline metric is the core of the Health Science Process Approach. Baseline metrics represent the scientific approach as it manifests empirically.
