Cestari Yarns are produced in Churchville, Virginia. We twist, cone, wind, and dye the yarn in the basement of our historical red barn. We make fine merino wool yarn, traditional wool yarn, Virginia cotton, and blends, keeping it as natural as possible.
Cestari Yarns are a wonderful, very natural yarn product. All of our yarn is made in the USA, with wool and cotton grown in the USA.
Our Traditional Wool collection features wool primarily from Columbia and Targhee Sheep. Our Merino Line is made from a very fine grade of merino wool. We also manufacture a cotton/wool blends and cotton/wool/silk blends of yarn.
Our newest yarn is 100% cotton, made in Virginia from cotton grown in Virginia.
