My son & his wife lives across the street from the Temple. They recently moved me in with them..I am using a walker right now due to hip surgery. Decided to walk across the street to see did they have any programs like Meditation.since I practice it . First of All I am African American .....So it seemed the 1st lady was limited with English she was in street clothes. The other lady was head shaved and wearing the monk clothing ..She seemed very dismissive & abruptly answered NO NO NO..The Chihuahua dog was circling me finally she said a command to stop..Don't seem very kind to outsiders..
When walking my dog nearby their two Chihuahuas came running at us full speed and ran into the street and near got hit. Control your dogs and put them on leashes!
my favorite monastery. beautiful plants and can tell a lot of care goes into maintenance. lots of free learning resources, materials, books, for people to study Buddhism on their own.
Peaceful, comfortable and friendly atmosphere here as long as the scenes aren’t changed.
