Chúgar Bakery is an online bakery in Philadelphia serving elegant desserts and savory pastries to the Main Line and Center City.
At Chúgar Bakery, I bring to Philadelphia the flavors of Honduras as interpreted through Maria Teresa Lupiac, my amazing grandmother. The recipes I use were perfected by my mother, Juliana Pineda, when she joined my grandmother and together they ran the most prestigious pastry shop in the capital city. As I stay true to their essence and flavors, I've given each recipe my own touch. Every item is a blend of the three of us, and my way of honoring the two most amazing women in my life.
In addition to continuing with my family's legacy, I also offer desserts and savory pastries I've developed myself over the past 20 years.
I maintain a small menu in order to control quality. The menu will vary from season to season.
