This is the place to go if you want a bike that is right for you and what you want. Just go in and tell them why you want the bike high performance riding, commute, fun, etc. and where you plan to use it. They know the area. I got an e-bike because I was avoiding my commute that requires going up a steep hill. I love it. If anything, these guys provide too much information! By the way, this is a family owned brick and mortar place. If you don't want to maintain a bike yourself, consider this place as they will be here in the future they've been around a long time. Happy biking!

I needed two tools to fix the out-ot-date bottom bracket on my road bike. They had the tools I needed at a fair price and were very helpful with advice on how to use them. They also had in stock a replacement bottom bracket if I needed one. Thank you!
Walked in, was greeted warmly, went over what I wanted and she pulled out a bike and why it would be good for me. Did a test ride, bought it and today took her out in the park, love it! They are the best, so knowledgable and put me on the right bike.

Bought my bike here and the experience was quick, great fit, and the person we worked with not sure their name, but they have red hair answered all of our questions and was happy to make adjustments. An hour drive to get here but it was worth it for the excellent customer service.
This is a solid bike shop. Purchased a bike Domane SL5 from them and from the moment I walked in the shop I was treated well. I had to travel a bit to get to them, about a 3 hour drive, in order to find a bike in my size 44cm. They had a solid inventory, which isn't easy these days. I called before making the trip, and as promised the bike was on the floor and ready to test ride. When it came time for my 30 day tune up Mike and the crew accommodated me and got me in and out of the shop quickly, understanding my reluctance to spend consecutive days in bay area traffic. I appreciated this immensely. They answered all of my questions about moving to tubeless tires without making me feel stupid. I would go to this shop again, I do recommend them. Thanks to all at the shop.
ChainReaction Bicycles is the best bike shop around! I brought my Trek Domane road bike in to see if a lower set of gears could be installed. Becky met me when I fist walked in and explained the options. We agreed on the simplest path and I brought the bike back about a week later for the installation. I liked that I could keep riding the bike until they actually needed it. During the installation of a new cassette, rear derailleur and a longer chain, Mike noticed a crack in the back rim. I am SO GLAD he found it as I am planning a big ride in a few weeks. A new rear wheel was installed at a very reasonable cost. Today I did a ride with about 1200 feet elevation gain and it felt GREAT! I love my new gears! Thank you Mike, Becky and Kevin for your expert upgrade!
Chain Reaction Bicycles is by far the best bike shop I've been to in this area. I brought them my rear wheel to get it aligned and they noticed that it has a crack on the inside and needs to be replaced. I didn't buy the wheel there, but they still filed a warranty claim and I got a new wheel within a week. In addition to that, everyone there is super friendly and small issues got fixed right away for me.
This is a true cyclist's store. They simply are the best. If you live near them, go see them and you will be happy you did. They tuned up my bike recently and did a wonderful job, ahead of schedule.
