I golfed this course for the first time and it deserves the 4 star review. The greens and fairways were very well kept. The course layout is incredibly fun, challenging and unique. Big mature oak trees line so much of this course which also adds a special beauty to your round. I thoroughly enjoyed the hand full of blind look tee shots, which also had these big trees come in play. This is also a par 73 which makes it even more unique compared to the majority of courses you will find. These days most people use their phones as range finders. However, it was nice having the range finder built into the golf cart. The pace of play was good and the ranger was pushing people along. Our foursome finished just under 4.5 hrs. We could have made it closer to 4 hours had we not taken as long of a break at the turn. The only knocks I have on this course is that they need better drainage in a few bunkers specifically the front 9 and to put water jugs every few holes there were none that I saw. Book a round at this place with confidence. P.S.- The signage at this course to stay safe on the hills while maneuvering with our cart had me laughing.
This was the absolute slowest pace of play I've ever experienced. At the start we were told it would probably take 4.5 hours to finish. This past Saturday it took over 3 hours to finish the front nine. At the start of hole 9 there were 5 groups at the hole. I can't imagine how many calls to the clubhouse were received but when I called to ask for a ranger to do something the person on the phone said they'll send someone right away. This was at 5pm. No one came. After 9 we went to the clubhouse to see what's up and was informed the rangers left at 3. On a Saturday!? This is atrocious management. We were allowed to start over at hole 1 and finished the course at just over 2.5 hours at a fast pace to beat sunset but was held up on 18 by the group that was in front of us on 9. Unbelievable. We played 27 holes and the course was enjoyable and the nature and scenery made the time waiting less frustrating. The fairways were neat, the bunkers are rocky, and the greens were fast and true. The rough needed a mow too. With all that being said, we were able to make it worth the time and money spent. However, I'll never go back on a weekend unless it's a bookended tee time.
One of my favorite courses in the area. The drive on 5 is damn near impossible from the tips. Beautiful course, great weather in the summer and it has gorgeous houses on the course so it's a great view at the same time. Highly recommended.
This is such a great golf course! My husband and I grew up in the northern suburbs but now live in Orlando. Every time we come to town we make a point to play here. I carry a 10 handicap and my husband is a scratch golfer. This course offers a great layout with many challenging holes and is enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Only drawback is that there is not a driving range.
Greens were well kept. Speed was play was awesome however I did have a 6 am tee time. Some challenging but fun holes. *the coyotes looked real
Course is good shape. Staff is friendly. New GPS system on carts is nice but is way too restrictive on where you can drive. Some areas lacked common sense and slowed play.
Stopped in for a quick drink to enjoy the summer evening, and was given excellent service at the bar by Morgan. Service like hers will ensure we stop back again!!
Course is great and in great shape but god damn are the carts and restricted zone annoying af. On 4 separate occasions driving on the cart path and the cart just stopped.
Called in for a junior tee time, made sure to say junior a couple times and was told ok, as I show up to pay I’m told the total will be $59, I tell them that I said junior and then in person he tells me they do t have a junior tee time price. It would have been nice to know over the phone before making the trip. Pro shop lacks knowledge about their own course.
Great layout with some really challenging holes. Several really intimidating tee shots. Greens were in great condition, took a ball and rolled really true.
