Challenger K-8 School of Science and Math

This school is an amazing school! All the teachers are great, especially Mrs. Lopez! She gets us engaged and shares life stories to help connect to the topic! All the students seem to love her the most and are entertained in her class, while still learning at the same time. She's funny, but doesn't get off topic or let us get off topic. She encourages respect and rapport, and is a great role model to students. She not only teaches the test standards she has to teach, but also teaches valuable lessons to help us in life, unlike other teachers. She truly stands out.

I've been here since Kindergarten, and it was enjoyable. However, the pickup line system is seriously flawed, requiring you to take much longer than needed to pick up a student. Also, students in the higher grade seem to be over their head in drama... I would know. Other than that the school is clean and in very good shape considering its age. Hopefully it stays the way I left it for years to come, maybe it will get better!

This school is the best school by far! I am a 7th grader here in the Gifted Program and what this program provides is truly amazing. They learn your learning styles and teach you to fit each individuals' needs. Most teachers here are very prepared and even though there are many projects and a lot of homework, it is truly worth it.

Mrs. Lopez is THE BEST TEACHER EVER.!!!! When she teaches us it is interesting and she connects our lives and/ or real life situations to the lesson! If anyone says that," Mrs. Lopez is a bad teacher" or " Mrs. Lopez is rude or mean", BE SMART AND DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!! She is a great role model to every student. She works hard and if you have had her as a teacher you would know that she encourages students to do their best in class. Being in her class is a GREAT opportunity, she is an outstanding teacher in every way. SHE IS AN INCREDIBLE TEACHER NO MATTER WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY... drops mic BYE. and remember the best BYE.:

MRS LOPEZ IS THE WORST. she cannot stop talking about her son and she wastes time during class to talk about her life.... for example her jury summons story took up an entire class period one time. she also compares us to her son and wastes at least 15 minutes a class period talking about her son or her life. she also puts down students with rude remarks and sarcasm personally directed at the students. she is not fit to teach and I hear other teachers in the hallways gossiping about how she barges into class rooms and disrupts them several times in one class period just for a dress code violation made by a student. this prevented the teacher not mentioning names from teaching her class due to Mrs Lopez several interruptions. she is also is extremely loud and is rude to students by responding to simple " hello Mrs Lopez" by walking away saying "whatever" with a smirk on her face acting like she is better than every human being. you can also hear the teachers gossiping about her in the hallway on a daily basis about her attitude and her disruptions in other classroom and in the hallways. she is also rude to other teachers such as ignoring them when they try to tell he to leave there classroom during one of her disruptions.

Being someone who knows the school system behind the scenes this is a fair rating. While they do not beat and torture children they are not the best school either. They use the gifted program which I am a part of for test scores and funding. The assisstant principal does not care abaout his students teachers either have outrageous standards and projects or do not teach. So yeah it's fair

This school is awesome i have been there since kindergarten and i love it and unlike some other reviews the teachers do not beat the students and they teach us very well.

This is the best school ever and I have been here all my years. Sure the school serves HORRIBLE lunches but hey just bring a lunch. Also, they don't beat you

I love the school I was there from kinder to 3rd grade but sadly had to leave I miss the school so much the lunches were great and so were the staff! still miss all of the wonderfull teachers.

My granddaughter loves her school... drop off and pick up lines are ridiculous. . The school should have a better system... you could be in eot5line for over 30 minutes.
