Good coffee and pastries in a nice setting in South Coast Plaza Shopping Mall

Convenient spot to grab pastries, coffee, or quick lunch/brunch. It offers variety of sweets, in It's beautiful to sit outside on the sunny days in the patio area as well. The set up is Frenchie romantic with tables under red umbrellas. Food will be served by server if you sit outside, which I like about it because there are some cafes they yell your name to go get the food. I like: 1. Tomato soup 2. Egg benedict 3. Strawberry waffles

The outdoor seating is relaxing on a quiet weekday. Chai latte is pretty decent and their pastry selection is fantastic.

Every treat is so rich and sweet! Gorgeous presentation and very flavorful. Lil upscale and pricey but the desserts are worth it !!

Yes, you can enjoy the good food, good service, the beautiful view by the bridge connecting the 2 huge mall complexes of South Coast plaza, the cute visits of little birdies and the soft music of La Vie En Rose. Oui, oui, j'aime bien!

I'm not sure how this place is earning all the "rave reviews" as we went yesterday and it was a truly disappointing experience and I had high hopes for it. Food was mediocre and very bland; the macaroons were stale and after reading the Yelp reviews I wish I had read them before we went. Pretty gross stuff going on behind closed doors. Thankfully the food is inexpensive because it's not authentic French food just a wannabe French pretend restaurant. I'll save you a trip and tell you "Don't Go."

Delicious baked goods. Nice selection even right before closing time. Espresso wasn't as good as we hoped but the cappuccino was good. Love how the decor is straight off the Champs Elysses with the "outdoor like setting" which is really just an open area in the mall and the wicker chairs which are exactly like the chairs at the outdoor cafes in Paris.

Service is terrible terrible terrible. Waited for a long time to order, paid $30 for lunch for 1 ! Then waited and waited standing with my number in my hand. Eventually sat down at a dirty table and waited and waited. My coffee arrived first which I sent back as my food hadn't arrived. Eventually food arrived which was really good although presentation wasn't great. French onion soup was good lots of taste topped off with croutons and cheese. Salad was good with fresh greens nice dressing and lots of variety. Still sitting here an hour later waiting for my coffee to make a reappearance! Unless you are a *very* patient person with lots of time to spare avoid this place.
