Chandler Convalescent Hospital

I don’t recommend this, dude my mom just got discharged from the hospital. I had to call a few minutes ago because my mom needs assistance since she’s not able to fully move on her own. She said that the nurse who helped change her adult diaper, turned her too far, she wasn’t able to reach the remote to call for help, she said that she felt fluid leak out from a pouch that has on her abdomen she had the paracentesis done at the hospital before being discharged.

For so-called health "professionals" the staff at chandler is horrible with covid protocols. They insist on checking temperatures while most of them walk around speaking tagalog with their masks off. No wonder covid killed as many convalescent patients as it did. These people are positively retarded.

I find the negative reviews on Chandler interesting to say the least. People are usually fueled to post negative comments when one little thing goes wrong and they are upset. I have had a very different experience with Chandler. My 83 year old mother has been here for over a year. I visit her for a couple hours every day. While it's not the nicest looking facility, it is clean and everyone is well taken care of for the most part. I always keep an eye out for how residents are treated and I've never seen anything out of the ordinary. The food is great for what it is and they do their best to accommodate the residents. They make efforts to keep those that live here entertained and the staff is nothing but nice and professional. My mother tells me she likes it there and she feels well cared for. She has her favorite CNAs there are several and they work very, very hard. I highly recommend Chandler to anyone that needs a place for their loved one.

My mom was transferred here in the spring of 2020. She picked up and was diagnosed with covid-19/pneumonia. By the time she was admitted to Glendale Memorial Hospital her cough got much worse. She passed in May of 2020. The tragic part of all this is the no-contact rule placed from quarantine, I couldn't say goodbye in person.

Staff members are excellent, their timeliness, being articulate, and punctuality makes me to think about now other nursing house except "GLENDALE NURSING HOUSE" in central avenue in the city of Glendale. We appreciated the service we received from physical therapists, Tiffany, and other staff members. Thanks Fred

My stay here served its purpose and was very helpful and pleasant. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and feel at home.

They haven’t had TV for the past two weeks they claim they working on it but it’s been two weeks. They are understaffed. What are there suppose to do without TV lay in their beds the whole entire day. I will update and fix my review once the issue is fixed

I’m so grateful for all the staff here that have helped my brother rehabilitate & be able to return to the community. Thank you for all your hard work. True heroes!

Used to be so much better. After they changed to new management just the basic hygiene is not taken care of. Not recommended.

This place is now ran by me management 2019 and is even worse then ever please be considerate of where you leave your family... This place is disgusting
