What a horrible place to live! Roaches everywhere, and each time the pest control comes to spray whatever it is they spray, we seem to get even more bugs! I had to ask one of they maintenance men why that seems to happen and he just laughed in my face! And all the management can do about this is to tell you to book for pest control again for the next month! My girlfriend who visited from LA, went out for a walk and was assaulted by two young men dressed in a hodded sweatshirt just as she was about opening the front door. My neighbors door/ apartment was broken into last week. She reported it to the leasing staff and they told her to get a police report. Yet, will all these increasing cases of robberies and attacks in Chandler Park, they won't fix their bloody gate! It's always broken and left wide open! I am so miserable living here, I can't wait for my lease to be up so i can happily say adios to this disgusting concrete jungle that is run by headless staff without a single shred of empathy, or any consolatory word. What a horrible, terrible very unsafe, dirty place to live! Yuck!
Chandler Park is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in in my life. This review has been brewing for a long time now. Whilst I am not one to usually take time out of my life to leave reviews, as someone who has now lived in 2 different units in this complex I feel compelled to write this not out of spite but as a warning to anyone looking to potentially move here. At first glance the apartments seem elegant and modern but the facade does not last long. Quickly within moving in there are small things not working properly. Room door not closing all the way, dripping faucet, little things right? Maybe these little trivial things are just something wrong with the unit, we’ve been needing a bigger space, let’s give Chandler another try in a bigger apartment. BIG mistake Soon after it became apparent that getting anyone to answer the phone is as difficult as getting the cell phone company to answer you. We have had to call or attempt to call I should say quite often due to the laundry list of issues that occur. Here is a list below for reference: - toilets clogged - ceiling fan malfunction - garbage disposal malfunction - refrigerator leaks - dryer doesn’t dry - washer leaks - bedroom ceiling fan fell Over half of these issues are reoccurring and we have to just live with at this point, due to the fact that not only is it hard to get anyone on the phone, but if we go the route of scheduling maintenance through the website no one ever shows up. There have been times where we would have to make 2-3 maintenance request for the same issue in order to get someone to come out. The conclusion we’ve come to in order to get issues resolved is to take time out of our busy schedule and go down to the office and speak with the very rude and unprofessional staff members in person. Not only do they make us wait endlessly in the lobby due to them being “on lunch” regardless of what time we go, one of the maintenance members had the audacity to speak to me using profanity in front of the manager. The belittlement doesn’t end there, whenever we raised concerns about the parking policy changing because there are now only about 20 visitor parking spaces for the entire complex since they’ve removed visitor passes yes I counted, the office members response was “I don’t care about your visitors I only care about the residents here.” Where this care for the residents lies is yet to be shown. At this point we have given up trying to resolve anything here and are just counting down the days until our house completes construction so that we can leave here. Chandler Park is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in in my life.
I'd give the 0 stars if i could! They keep changing management and get worse with each new one! Colder staff, worst customer service, slow maintenance that lack the proper tools... I moved into an apartment with a broken granite kitchen counter top, and as i called the maintenance to come fix it, guess what he came with? A piece of wood. He said "for now, let's use it to support the granite table from falling. I will be back next week to fully repair it!" Well, it's been OVER SEVEN MONTHS and the entire couple per top is caving in! I have complained over 101 times but whomever i talk to clicks away on her computer then says i have entered the ticket, they will come this time. But no one ever does. If you go back to complain to them, they give you an attitude! With all the apartments i saw online when i was searching, I don't know how i got so carried away with the external leasing office and the pool and i sentenced myself to living here for one year! I cannot wait to leave! I barely use the pool anyway, it's locked up for cleaning every other day! Hiss!
I wish I paid more attention to all the negative reviews here. They are all true! The test is in the details! No one could ever make any of these things up! I lived here for 5 years. It wasn't very pleasant living there, but it was a LIVING NIGHTMARE when we moved out! This failing apartment used a collection agency to shake us down to pay off false debts! Bogus charges that they never sent to me first. Even after being a long standing tenant. They pushed their bogus charge straight to a collection agency and wrecked my credit, all as a means to punish me for leaving their failing apartment and to milk money out of me and I’m sure other exiting tenants such as myself as a supplementary means of income to pay their bills. Ignore these helpful advice at your own peril. Move in here, and though I wish you well, you will most likely be in my position, grinding your teeth bitterly in regret, writing a similar review and hoping others do what you didn't do.... listen and FLEE to somewhere better! Looking for the right apartment to call home is tough and frustrating! I know, but your life can literally get shattered if you hastily make a wrong choice. Be patient, keep looking, and before you know it, you will find a nice, clean place that you and your family will live happily, managed by a team of dedicated staff who value their position and at some level, care about their tenants. A management team that would respect you and put you first! After all, what is customer service about if not to offer good service to the hardworking people whom you call tenants. Who trust you and pay you their hard earned money in rent??!
When visiting the property we were very excited and obviously wanted to ask s few question about the property. When asking these questions the leasing agent Isabella Penoth she seemed to be very bothered that I would ask a question. Despite this I was very interested in renting with them and was ready for the application. I asked for the manager because I wanted clarification on the dates Isabella told me she is the leasing agent and I don’t need to talk to her manager at all.
I received great customer service from the leasing agents and the assistant Manager. Latoria, Isabella and Damariss were great in taking care of me with my recent move. The apartments are really spacious, you will not be disappointed if you choose Chandler.
I originally wrote a unfavorable review based on my experience being an apartment locator with a client who signed a lease here. I want to correct that as management as since addressed the misunderstanding we had and has since processed my invoice and followed up to make sure everything was handled properly. Thank you!
Toured these apartments recently and had a great experience. The property looks clean and well kept. It’s quiet and peaceful. I LOVE the unique floorplans.
