If I could leave zero stars, I would. I normally don't write reviews but this I cannot let it slide. I had order and paid over $100 for a large cake for a baby shower and as you can see it looks nothing like the photo they showed me. Not only that but the tres leches milk mixtures was leaking all over the place. They guarantee that the cake will turn out like the picture. Far from it. Aside from that, I was told that by 2pm my cake would ready. To my surprise I had to wait more 30min for them to start and finish decorating the cake. An older lady, idk if she's the owner or not but was very rude when I pointed out that there was no yellow bottom border to the cake like in the original picture. I received no apology for the mistakes made on the cake I received. Her reply was "Oh, too bad I already painted it pink" even though she asked me before starting the decor how I wanted it to make sure. Which I replied exactly like the picture. This situation really upset me and I will never go back to them. Which is unfortunate because I have been a customer of theirs since over 10 years ago, since before they switched to the new owners.

Horrible service! My cake looked nothing like the picture they showed me. Looked rushed and like they had a child decorate it. Do not recommend, not worth your money!

Got a cake for my birthday and the strawberries had gone bad and were literally just sour. Not fresh and not worth the money. Please do not sell cake knowing it has been sitting out for days, especially ones that have fruit in them

We ordered a cake the other day, and this is no longer a Peruvian spot. The original owners were Peruvian, not sure who owns the place now but the cake does not taste like a true Peruvian chantilly cake. If you are looking for an authentic Peruvian chantilly, look elsewhere because this is not it.

I placed an order for a half a sheet cake to serve 40+ people for an event in May in APRIL! I paid on the same day I placed the order. A week prior to my event, I called to make sure they had my order and that it would be ready for May 7th. I came the day I requested to pick the cake up, just for the staff to say they never made my cake! I received no apologies, just a rude “we will cancel your order and issue a refund.” DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Service is great and food is delicious

I will never trust this place ever again and I will recommend everybody to look elsewhere there are more reliable and professional places, I placed an order that was extremely important and time sensitive I even placed it the day before which I was told was more than enough time, their answer was when I got there they didn’t put it to the side so you’re going to have to wait several hours to get your cake. How ridiculous is that and then don’t even get me started with how horrible the service is here, I’ll put it nicely “THEY DONT CARE” wether it’s there mistake! Go to Capy literally right down the street and to my opinion a lot better in taste, it’s way fresher! Hopefully this rating helps you!

I bought a small cake here for my birthday, the original price is $40, this lady charged me $60 because they had daised the price they said. The next day my mom overheard a lady ask for the same size of cake and she said it was $40, my mom told her they had over charged me for the cake and she said because it had decorations. Decorations??? It only had 4 small flowers one on each corner and that was it.

Chantilly makes one of the best cakes in town. But here is why they only get 3 stars 1. The staff there needs to work more on customer service and customer care 2. They are pricey Things they can not control are location They are located in down town passaic heavy traffic on that side of town and the sma plaza they are in has no parking it makes it hard to visit this cake place

The worst customer service. Beware of the guy with the ponytail. Although, the desserts are good I won’t return due to the nasty attitude of the employee. Educate your employees on how to be kind and communicate well with the customers!!!!!
