Chaparral was founded in 1979 as a one man aircraft charter operation. As business increased, the decision was made to start a FBO to support the charter operations and the needs of West Texas aviators.

Chaparral continues to be the only On-Demand FAA Part 135 charter jet operator at LBB. The current fleet consists of a Falcon 20, Learjet 35, and two King Air 200's. Chaparral is well versed in international operations, maintaining a Mexico Charter Certificate, and having conducted flight operations throughout Canada, the Caribbean and South America.
