Food was really good. Staff was very friendly and always checking with us. The cocktails were soo good and the appetizer was amazing. Portion was good and you can taste the quality of the food and that they took their time to cook the food to tatse b this food. If you sitting outdoor the view is amazing.
Chapel Hill was interesting. First time going there. I couldn't help feeling like I was at somebody's wedding reception. It's a really nice-looking place. I was with my work crew 6 of us. We ordered a bunch of appetizers. The meatballs were great. The crab cakes not so much. Over breaded and over cooked, Where was the crab? I ordered the chicken scalloped, this dish was meh all the way The chicken was tough and overcooked... blah blah dish! Oh, the mashed potatoes seemed to be powdered and not real. The waitress and service was great. Overall, this place deserves a second chance. Check it out. Oh yeah, the price was decent, too.
Was able to spend an enjoyable Easter dinner at the chapel grille. The atmosphere and the architecture in the chapel compares to none. Just to go sit at the bar and have a drink would be an enjoyable evening in itself. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs and checked on us when appropriate. The multitude of flavorful cocktails was very difficult to choose from, but we tried what we could responsibly. Even with the special menu for Easter there was plenty to choose from. The only drawback I found was that my pan seared salmon was a little dry. My wife and I are already planning on going back again in the near future.
Ordered penne alla vodka with chicken and received pasta with traditional red sauce and basil. My chicken was burnt and barely edible. We called the restaurant and they agreed to refund half of the meal. I still had to pay $15 for food that went in the trash. Very disappointed and will not be ordering food from here again.Food: 1/5
We Celebrated Mother's Day here. My first time eating at this restaurant. Food was really good, they offered a mother's day menu. Staff was very friendly. Looking forward to visiting again!
Consistently good - drinks, appetizers and dinner. The braised short ribs were recommended as a fan fave and I could see why. Cooked to perfection and paired with creamy mashed potatoes. This is our of our favorite restaurants and we try something new each time. Both short ribs and salmon are on our list of items we would repeat!Recommended dishesBraised Boneless Short Rib, Seared Atlantic Salmon
We just celebrated our anniversary here. Food, service, atmosphere was all top notch.Food: 5/5
I recently attended a bridal shower and a delicious buffet breakfast/luncheon was served. The breakfast items as well as the penne pasta in a pink sauce and the lemon chicken was amazing! I’ve also been there on other occasions to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. The beautiful chapel was built in 1891 of stone with a shingled porch. It was used as a place for spiritual healing as part of the rehabilitation of the Sockanosset school for boys. In the bar area there is a gorgeous chandelier. Children are welcome; however, it is fine dining at its best!!! Vegetarian options: Salads, pastas and pizzas are available. Parking: Plenty of parking and handicapped parking right in front of the main door. Wheelchair accessibility: We had no problem getting our wheelchair to the table. There is an elevator available to get to the second floor. The handicapped restroom is spacious enough for a wheelchair.
We came from Connecticut to visit our neighboring state and wound up at Chapel Grille for a late dinner. Nathan was our server and was excellent with his service. The dinner was superb quality and presentation of the order and we were pleasantly surprised as it was our first time there. We look forward to coming there again on our next day trip to Rhode Island.
I went on date here and I was rushed the whole time. I got appetizers to start and was told I needed to put in my entree at the same time per “kitchen policy” and that nothing would be put in unless it was the complete order. I’ve been here before and this wasn’t the case in any previous experience, nor have I dealt with any “policy” like this at any other establishment. After this experience, as well as the average at best quality of the meal overall, I will not be returning again. It’s a shame because the location is convenient and the restaurant itself has a beautiful ambiance, but the service needs some serious work; especially considering the price you pay for your meal. I’m not one to write bad reviews, but this experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to say something.
