I went here to make burial arrangements for my mother who had already prepaid for everything except digging the grave and the ending date for her tombstone. They were horrible to me. The person who helped me threatened to postpone my mother's burial if I did not give her cash or a check that day. Her exact words were "We'll have to postpone your mother's burial...is that what you want?!" Despite showing her life insurance policies that I had to cover my mom's burial and that her husband had passed away so I was the beneficiary and executor of her estate which I also had documents for they treated me terribly. I asked what other people who don't have $3,000 sitting around do and she told me they borrow it and to go ask someone to borrow the money. They finally, after 1 hour of going back and forth said they would accept the life insurance policy signed over to them. They also said they had the ending date plate in stock and it would be on within two weeks. After I left they changed their mind about accepting the life insurance policy and called to let me know. The lady in charge Valerie apologized for how I was treated by her employee and said that they would wait until her funds were cleared and I could send a check. She also said she would not be bothering me and that just send it as soon as I could. I thought great, then Valerie continued to harass and call me every week at my job to ask if the money was cleared yet. I told her it was beyond my control and I was waiting on the life insurance company. The insurance company said if they had a problem with that they could call them. She continued to call me every week at work, even though she said she would not. I finally received a check and paid the full balance and told them again how awful I was treated and to never contact me again. I received a letter saying sorry for your dissatisfaction and oh by the way, we do not have the ending date plate to match her tombstone they originally told me they did and that I would have to contact the company my mom bought her tombstone from. I would never recommend this cemetery to anyone, they are completely heartless and all they care about is the cold hard dollar, not the fact that people are dealing with their loved ones dying and doing the best they can. They are AWFUL!

We recently held a memorial service at Chapel Hill Gardens South for a family member that had passed away. The memorial service and the following luncheon were all held at the funeral home. The ability to do this is simply wonderful and proved to be convenient for all who attended the service. The staff guided us through all of the prior funeral arrangements and also on the day of the memorial service.  Thank you Michael and Monica. We recommend Chapel Hill Gardens South to anyone having to make these arrangements for a loved one.

The staff and service we received was second to none.  Sandi, Dave, Amber, Deb Ellen, and  Shelly  may have forgotten someone were kind, compassionate and extremely attentive to our family‘s needs. They were easy to work with and graciously accommodating in every single way. I can’t think of any other team that I would’ve wanted to walk these last steps of our dad‘s journey with. They sincerely did an amazing job of celebrating my dad‘s life. It truly was a joy to have them support and guide us with all the arrangements.  Our family really appreciated the ability to upload pictures and videos of our memories with my dad which we’ll have access to forever.  Thank you again to your team for helping us celebrate and mourn our dad in a peaceful and gracious manner.

The evening before my husband's memorial service and burial, our Pastor was rushed to the hospital, unable to conduct the service in the morning. At 9pm Rev. Deb-Ellen agreed to stand in for him, even speaking with him in his hospital bed concerning what he had hoped to share about Bob. After gleaning what she could about my husband from me, she worked through the night preparing for the service. She spoke of Bob as if she knew him well, including family members' participation throughout the service. We were amazed with her eloquent, heart-felt reflections in celebration of my husband' life, far exceeding our expectations. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of pastoral services.

I had my Uncle's service at Chapel Hill Gardens South and it went better than I could have ever expected. Reverend Deb, along with Amber, Shelly, Jose and Dan exceeded all of my expectations. I communicated with Reverend Deb in the days before the service and she took the information that I gave her about the family to make it such a personalized event. It meant so much to me that my Uncle was given the proper send off that he deserved and I couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommend this team!

Just like anyone, when your loved one passes away, chances are that you don't want to focus on any of the funeral arrangements. Chapel Hill was there for me every step of the way as they were kind, patient, and understanding. I plan to use them again in the future hopefully not too soon.  Thank you again for everything you've done for my family and I.

We just had the one year anniversary of my Mom's passing and I wanted to mark the occasion by saying how much I appreciated the wonderful care and attention we received from everyone at Chapel Hill Gardens. Rev. Deb Ellen did an exellent job, working with my mother on the pre-need, and it resulted in a much less stressful time than I was expecting.  From the moment Tom & Louis arrived at the house to receive her, throughout the visitation, funeral, mass and burial we were treated  with respect and concern by everyone at Chapel Hill Gardens, especially Shelly, Sheila, and Rev. Deb.  Thank you for your care and service to our family.

I can't say enough about the care, support and absolute kindness shown to my girls and I on the sudden passing of my husband, and their father. Megan, Deb-Ellen, Shelly and Dave were just wonderful the day after,  in making all the arrangements seemless, knowing what a mess the night before had been, and wanting to ease our sorrow in with putting us at peace. Over the days that followed, they were in constant contact to answer any questions from us, and to make sure all the arrangements were what we wanted, and they were quick to change or assist with things we didn't have, easels for example.  I loved the level of service they provided and would highly recommend Chapel Hills South to anyone in need, in fact when the dust settles and given a little time I plan to go back and pre-arrange my own funeral with them!

Rev Debb was wonderful – we called her last minute when our pastor was rushed to the hospital the night before my father’s funeral. Deb willingly stepped up to the plate & and delivered a beautiful & touching service honoring my father. Rev Debb spoke with my mother & our hospitalized pastor to pray, gather information & personalize my Dad’s Celebration of Life; all were moved by her great effort, compassion & the exceptional service she delivered. Our family has much respect & appreciation for Rev Debb & highly recommend her. Also, we were very pleased with Danny, Jose & Jesse - the grounds unit who so reverently placed my father into his earthly resting place. And Sandie & Meghan from the office personnel were wonderful in assisting with the Cemetery paperwork and allowing Rev Debb to work with our family in honoring my father in graveside and funeral prayers.

Our family recently engaged Dignity Memorial at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral home to arrange services for our mother.  From our first contact through our meetings with funeral director, Meghan and finally the service conducted by Reverend Beverly, we had the most pleasant, supportive, comforting, efficient and very personable experience one could hope to have under such sad, and sorrowful circumstances. Our situation developed into one affording very short notice and requiring a fairly quick resolution.  The highest professionalism was exhibited by everyone we encountered.   Reverend Beverly was recommended to us to preside over the service, and after holding an interview with us, she designed and presented her plan, which turned out to be a very personal, meaningful  and memorable service. While we were very pleased with everyone involved in Mother’s service, we were particularly thankful for Meghan’s very thoughtful and beautiful arrangements, both inside and at the gravesite, and Rev-Bev’s very pleasant, well-constructed service both inside and at the gravesite that that most-pleasantly honored, with very personable touches, our mother’s strong faith. I highly recommend Dignity Memorial and Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home and their wonderful people to whom we are most appreciative and thankful.
