We are proud to preserve and honor the precious traditions and heritage of Houston's Asian community with our Chapel of Eternal Peace and Garden of Eternal Peace at Forest Park. The Chapel of Eternal Peace was designed in consultation with a feng shui master in accordance with traditional Asian burial and funeral customs. We are able to accommodate three-day visitations in two chapels and have a state-of-the-art crematory with family viewing available on location.
Located adjacent to Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at Westheimer and Dairy Ashford, the Garden of Eternal Peace is located next to the first feng shui-designed cemetery in Houston and the only octagon-shaped garden in the United States. With four pagoda entrances featuring celestial animals for enhanced spiritual quality, the garden offers a tranquil place to reflect. Plantings are carefully located to enhance the “Qi of Tranquility,” and hand-crafted stone from China is used throughout the garden. The Garden of Eternal Peace also features bench and walled estates, custom lots and estates, private mausoleums, individual flat and raised monument garden, semi-private and private estates and a future cremation garden. We invite the public to experience this unique garden.
Forest Park Westheimer is a cemetery with 126 acres and more than 30,000 burials. A significant amount of our total acreage is undeveloped; therefore, cemetery property will be available for decades to come.
