Hello and welcome to Chapin Dog Park on face book!

All the park information is posted in the page info section. A few things not mentioned are that we do have outdoor restrooms located in the parking lot and picnic tables on the park side. There are also mountain bike trails, a gravel walking trail, and a model airplane flying area. Excrement bags and trash bins are located at the gates to the dog park area as well as in the inside. We do have some benches but if you prefer to stay a while you might want to bring a lawn chair, a cool drink for yourself, and wear a hat and possibly sunscreen for the warmer months. The water is turned off late in fall and back on in the spring. A new water unit was installed about 100 feet from the main big dog entrance. One of the helpful features is the double gated entrance/exit area for the dog park. PLEASE remember to shut BOTH gates as you enter/leave the park and make sure other dogs aren't trying to slip out with you!

Nice big dog park for both the big dogs side and small dog side with water fountains for the pups.  Often windy and as with most dog parks, not everyone picks up after their pup, but it's on the river delta so you can even do a bit of hiking and take your dogs down to swim.

Take my dog, she loves it. After 2 hours she's ready to go. Really nice dog park, although there are a few people who won't pick up dog poop. They supply bags. They have water for dogs. Little dogs and big dogs are separated.

We always have a blast here. So much to do. Trails,water areas, and playgrounds. Also wild cactus and plants all over.

This is a great local dog park to take the fur babies! There is a section for smaller dogs and a section for bigger dogs. Even though our pom pom thinks he's big enough to run with the big dogs, he's got plenty of area to run with his sister and play with the bigger dogs along the fence that divides them. It's very clean, there's doggie bags to keep it clean, plenty of space to exercise both your pup and yourself. Can make good conversations with other pup parents and make friends! Definitely a place I'll bring my fur babies when we're in town with down time.

It’s close to downtown. The place is clean. And most of dogs are pretty friendly

Chapin Park is a nice park. Wide open. Not alot of trees. It has restrooms, playgrounds, a off leash dog park and RC aircraft field. Great place for kite flying too. When I was there they were having a kite festival.

This place was okay. There is shade on the path. There is a dog park, RC airplane field, as well as a small playground. The history of the park is interesting as well, it was a landfill until 1987, then it was covered with three feet of dirt, seeded, and allowed to settle for many years before becoming a park. There is a sign by the picnic benches that tells the history. I only came to walk and followed the Alltrails app trail. You can also bike here if you desire. Bottom line if you have a dog or like to fly RC cars, this park is for you.

Love this park, especially when no one else is there lol.

Large area for dogs off leash and smaller area for just smaller dogs.  Walking trails that wind down by the river where you can walk off leash as well...

Clean well kept park. We  it
