Chapin Park Library

Friendly staff welcoming environment. I wish the space with the lounge poofs were for adults for reading but even seeing the kids area its cute! I want a reading nook! It appears they also keep current with holidays and display books accordingly, like there was an entire wall of influential womens book for womens month. Clean restrooms, and a phone booth so you can make calls in peace. There is an upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs, when you enter you can go left or right. Theres also a geneology area which Im going to need to plan a day or two for. Hope this helps.

Today marks 7 months of employment at Chapin Library. I want to thank the Security Team- Tom M. & Tom S. For their Professional job enforcing a Safe & Peaceful environment. The entire Library Staff deserves Honor. I especially recognize Lisa W., Supervisor for her dedication making this The Best Customer Service Dept of any Library I've ever visited. Resources include Faxing, Scanning, Notary, Copying & Computer Services, making it a great asset. I appreciate my coworkers who trained & encouraged me in my new position. Looking forward to meeting new visitors there

This library is phenomenal! I just had a book signing here and the staff was more than willing to make my visit comfortable and welcoming! They have a great selection of books as well! I truly had a wonderful experience here!

Great library with a lot of events available to the community.

A great resource for the residents of Myrtle Beach, and one I suspect is underutilized in this age of one minute attention spans. Friendly, helpful staff and a wealth of information in all forms of media. Chapin's website is also a good place to begin research, or browse the holdings and create your own electronic wish list of books you'd like to read. It all starts with a library card.

By far our favorite library! I came here with my family as a young girl and now enjoy bringing my own daughter, 20 years later. This library is filled with so much love from the staff and such a fantastic, enriching selection of books that we have yet to find somewhere else! The children’s program is so good, I bring my daughter and niece every week to hang out and browse new books, always being welcomed with such huge smiles. We love our library!!

The librarians are super friendly and there are thousands of books to choose from. They also have many events for adults and children.

I am taking advantage of every activity I can at Chapin. Now that I'm retired, it's book bingo, crafting, jazz corner, Friday films and more! Fun, Fellowship, and free!!

If you’re looking for more than your normal community library, then come here. The people here are kind, attentive, and helpful. And most importantly, you can tell they care about the patrons that come in. I have always felt welcome when I come here. From the awesome programs that they put on year round, to the amazing, ever-changing selection of books that they provide, I think Chapin Memorial Library exceeds every expectation that I have ever had for a local library.
