Charlee Preschool & Childcare of Oakland Park

I love CharLee preschool my son has been going here since he was 14 months old he’s about to be 2 now, I just want to say i’ve had the best experience here the school is very clean and the staff is the best. Mrs. Teresa is the best of the best she runs the school like no other and Mrs Mary my sons teacher is the best he’s learned sooooo so much since starting and he’s always happy to be dropped off and of course always in a good mood when I pick him up.. even though I had doubts when he started because my son was very anti social and couldn’t take naps with out a bottle the transition was very smooth. Also my younger sister attended this school from 3 years old til before kindergarten and she also had only good things to say about her teachers and her experience, she also tested into the magnet program for kindergarten, Which is awesome because our mother doesn’t speak english so it’s very hard for her to be able to teach or speak to my sister in english so that means my sister definitely got a lot of knowledge from her teachers at Charlee.

My daughters currently attend and I love the teachers, admin and team! They are nice, respectfully fair among all that enter and never a bad report from my oldest. She loves her teachers! I thank God for Charlee Preschool.

It's one of the cleanest preschools if ever seen. They have a full time cleaning lady who cleans throughout the day. The recently let go some staff. Not sure what happened, but they seem to be cracking down on the staff which may be good if they were not doing the right things. They are good with keeping the kid's diapers changed and clean. They are really good with Port training them too. My daughter now in 1st grade and 3rd child attend there and they helped them potty train really quickly. The only down side is Ms. Alex, the office manager, is not there anymore and she was the best cause she made sure no one could come and take kids without parent approval and she followed up if you ever had any concerns.

The learning experience has been successful since registration with my child. The teachers are very caring and loving, they listen to the child and guide them the best possible way, I know, because I had experience it directly with my own child. Really good system and great staff. Thank you Char Lee Preschool!

I do not recommend this school. My 1yr old was injured twice within one week and I did not receive any prior notification. I was only notified when I picked him up both times. When I asked the director Ms. Alex why I was not notified prior to my arrival, she explained, "because you pick your kids up early". He has permanent scars on his face and I was told a toy fell on him. Some classes are extremely overcrowded. Some hallways smelled like diapering. On early release days, the elementary school kids and the preschoolers share the same playground. I regret enrolling my kids at this school.

My son attended this school for two years and one day I went to drop him off and he started screaming in terror. He was so afraid for me to bring him inside so I thought he was overreacting. I asked the director and staff about it and they denied anything ever happened. Every time I drove by that school my son would scream and cry uncontrollably. Till this day I don’t know what happened to him but I should have filed a police report.

My son has been attending this school since he was two he is graduating this week. 5 years old kindergarten here he comes! Great preschool!!nice staff!

Miss Melissa and miss Teresa are awesome.. they have been good to my son who is speech delayed.. clean school and very informative.

Me. Teressa is the best at everything she does my daughter loves that school and she learns so much.
