I’m a fan of all libraries including this one. Incredibly awesome and super nice staff and really good baby and toddler reading sessions on Wednesday’s. I wish the library was a little bigger however, I really like the staff super nice and accommodating.
Waldforf's PD Brown library is not the library we knew as a kid. The lending program is digital and in hard copy. You can order online and be notified when to pickup. All is free and the are never any lines. Activities are available for kids and adults. What's better than surrounding your self with all the knowledge in the world. Nothing. And PD Brown provides that opportunity. Oh yeah, the libraians are all about service. Check it out. Reginald Haley
If you are looking for a quiet place to work or study, this is not the place! I thought libraries in general were supposed to be quiet, but not this one! It was more like a rec center. There were children running around screaming and playing for over an hour. There was a guy recording raps on the computer a few feet away from me. The librarians talk at the top of their lungs! I mean it's not a huge library anyway so you're bound to overhear some conversations, but they make no effort to speak at a low register, you can hear their conversation throughout the entire library. I was there for about 3 hours working because my internet at home was down, and the final straw which made me leave before I could finish my work, was when a teenager came in and started playing the Play Station on the TV that was literally right next to my head. He didn't care that I was working, and it was loud, and nobody said anything to him. Again, I thought the purpose of the library was to encourage young people to put the video games down and pick up a book! WHY is there a Play Station here??? And if it's going to be here, there should be headphones attached so the sound is not disturbing people who are trying to read, study or work. Edit- There was a fight in the bathroom! The police had to come! WITW?!?!
Friendly, prompt when needing help with the printer. Staff is very curtious. Clean facility.
If I could do a zero start I would give this place “0”. This the first library I have EVER been too with a studio in it....isn’t this place supposed to be a peaceful place to study and quietness?? It’s loud in here workers and kids are loud. This is not a library at all it have went downhill and very disappointing.
I use this facility quite a bit. The Staff is great, they are very knowledgeable. The Library also helps with our children after school and during the day.
Great service as always when I come to the PD Brown Waldorf Library. I always find my favorite books here as well.
Alway's have everything I need to accomplish my goals. Staff awesome? Can anybody say Awesome !
This library has gone downhill if you serious about completing any kind of project or need a quite place to do you’re work don’t go here their are homeless people in the bathrooms and people use this place for free daycare they let their kids run scream and the library does nothing I was in there twice the same lady brings her kids to cry and scream why she surfs the internet total disappointment
