Excellent doctor. I can really tell he cares about his patients and the parents. He always spends a generous amount of time with us. His staff is so so friendly! I actually had a different pediatrician lined up for my baby but Dr Goodman was the doctor that saw her at the hospital and from then and there we have only seen him.

Dr Goodman is straight up AWESOME!! We left our initial pediatrician because he was always in a hurry during our visits and gave us recommendations that suited him more than our baby. Dr Goodman couldn't be more opposite. He really takes a lot of time to listen to you and discuss your concerns. He's empathetic, doesn't have an ego like most doctors, so friendly and jolly and you really feel that he cares. His staff is also lovely and so helpful. I'm so glad I found him. He's exactly the kind of Doctor we wanted for my son.

Doctor Goodman is the best! He was my childhood superhero still is. I always find myself comparing every pediatrician I meet for my kids, to him and so far not one has even come close to being the amazing, personable, intelligent, funny, kind doctor/man doctor goodman is. Not to mention the rest of the staff, thanks for the great memories instead of being terrified to go to the doctor's we never wanted to leave. Haha. We love and miss you guys.

I recently had a baby and was recommended to Dr. Goodman by 2 of my doctors and their staff as well. I had never spoken with Dr. Goodman when he showed up in my hospital room with my newborn for her first check-up. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We loved him right off the bat. Given sometimes he can seem like a big kid himself, but that just adds to the fun loving doctors office and his staff. Our first office appointment was not a disappointment. It was like we had been coming to them for years. Dr. Goodman is NOT a 1 foot in the door and 1 foot out kind of doctor. He really takes the time to answer all my questions and feel comfortable in raising a healthy baby before I leave the office. I recommend Dr. Goodman for anyone looking for a super friendly and good doctor. Not if you're looking for an extremely professional pediatrician's office. They do things their own way.

Dr. Goodman and his staff have treated our kids ages 10 and 13, since birth. Over the years we have faced some significant medical issues and we are so grateful for the care and treatment we’ve received from them. I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Goodman. He is not only incredibly smart and current on all pediatric medicine he is also one of the most decent and genuinely caring individuals I’ve ever met. We feel very fortunate to have found him.

I can't help but laugh at the few bad reviews. In my opinion, if you feel you had a bad experience at Dr Goodman's, then it was probably worse for the doctor and staff. I have been taking both my 15 year old and my 5 year old son to Dr Goodman SINCE BIRTH. He came highly recommended by my own pediatrician Rachel Esmond. I couldn't imagine having to find another doctor or take my children somewhere else. Yes, he's a fun, silly doctor, with nothing but the BEST heartfelt advice and medical attention for you little ones and big ones alike. I love the office staff. I love that the majority of them have been with Dr Goodman since before I even had my children. I ABSOLUTELY 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT RECOMMEND THAT YOU AT LEAST GIVE YOUR CHILD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE SEEN BY DR CHARLES GOODMAN!!!!!

I am so disappointed about Dr. Goodman. He has been my son's doctor for the last 12 years. I called to reschedule my son's appointment for his annual check up and vaccine till August or not later than September because the number of covid-19 cases are really high this week and we are worry about our safety. They were rude and respond that we MUST go now or we will have to look for another doctor and did not care about what I was trying to explain.. Really??? After all this time going to his office? That only shows that he doesn't care about his patients or parents health. It is not right that he "push" parents to go during pandemic. I explained to them that we are high risk parents and we are staying-at-home for the last 3 months but I assuming they do not care about our health. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A DOCTOR THAT TREATS YOU THIS WAY. It is NOT right. Everything is good while you "follow their rules", otherwise they do not care about you. I always liked Dr. Goodman but now I can't feel the same way. Very sad and disappointed. I do not recommend this office anymore. "Bad times reveals true colors"

Our son Harrison has been going to Dr. Goodman's office since birth. He's only 8 weeks old, but through several appointments and consultations, he has been great. In his short life so far, he's already gotten a referral to Childrens Hospital LA, to confirm a diagnosis from Dr. Goodman, and the whole process was handled cleanly. We look forward to working with Dr Goodman and his team for years to come.

Dr. Goodman is the best! We initially started using him because he accepted Healthy Families. He treated my children from age 3 until they were grown they are now 21 and 23. Even now, if we need him, he is willing to treat them. He has always provided excellent care. The office staff, including his wife, are very kind and always make you feel cared for and appreciated. I especially appreciate his willingness to treat kids for ADD and ADHD. We didn't have to go to a higher priced doctor psychiatrist for medications. Dr. Goodman saw our son every month for many years. He is and was a God-send. I can't recommend him more highly. Ask him about Nemo and the fish tank cam.

I normally don't review things online but I am taking the time to do this because of the previous reviewer. I am a harried working mother with three children and I am thrilled to have found Dr. Goodman's office. Dr. Goodman is very kind with my surly 13 year old and makes her feel listened to. He knows how to engage with my shy two year old. He also pays attention when I describe my children's symptoms, unlike many doctors I have been to. Since moving to California we have been to half a dozen pediatricians, some great, some okay, almost all with filthy offices and flakey staff, but not this place. I'm not quite sure what happened to the July 4, 2010 reviewer, but my experiences here have been great. The staff knows all of my children by memory and the Doctor always remembers my face.
